• Downtown Location: Our apartment is located in the heart of downtown Dallas. Like many big cities, there is a visible homeless population in the area.

You can always report local safety, loitering, or homelessness concerns to Dallas See Say (See Say app).

• Historic Building Charm: The building is a beautifully renovated historic property. Due to preservation regulations, the windows cannot be opened. Occasionally, materials used to seal the original brick facade may emit a faint odor. Most guests are unaffected, but those sensitive to smells should be aware.
• Elevator Notice: As with many older buildings, the elevators occasionally require servicing. This rarely impacts guests, but we appreciate your understanding if there’s a temporary delay.
• Texas Heat & Bugs: In hotter months, some bugs may try to find cooler indoor spaces. The Butler Building is professionally treated multiple times a week (by building management). If you experience anything, just let us know—we're happy to help.
