The space
The Coach House is a beautiful 1 bedroom cottage in the grounds of a grade II listed house dating back to the 1760's in the heart of Westbourne near Emsworth on the West Sussex/Hampshire border. It is a perfect location for visiting the South coasts beautiful beaches such as West Wittering, exploring the South Downs, Stansted House or a day at the races at Goodwood. Hayling Island is close by with HISC only 20 minutes drive.
The Coach House was awarded a 4 star rating (for Self Catering) by Enjoy England and Quality in Tourism in June 2012.

We are close to local amenities including a coop supermarket, 2 pubs, a cafe, a curry house, bakery, pharmacy and an award winning fish and chip shop all within maximum 2 minutes walk away!

It is luxury accommodation with a large open plan kitchenette/diner/living room, 1 first floor double bedroom with a king size bed and a ground floor modern 'wet room' shower room (no bath).

The living area has 40'' LED TV with freeview and Apple TV, DVD player, stereo with IPhone dock, books, games with secure wireless fibre-optic broadband internet. The kitchen is small put perfectly formed with a SMEG fridge, gas hob, combination microwave oven/grill, slim-line dishwasher, dualit 2 piece toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine (capsules and a range of teas are included at no extra cost!)

The Coach House has a private outdoor eating area with BBQ and access to the 'outdoor living room' terrace. The cottage is well away from the main house and gives full privacy, perfect for those romantic getaways.
The living room has a corner sofa bed that converts into a double bed but we do not recommend more than 2 adults stay here at any one time. All linen and towels are included.

This cottage is in the grounds of our home but is very private and self contained. Hi I'm Emma and I live in the beautiful village of Westbourne in West Sussex on the Hampshire border. I have lived in here for 8 years and absolutely love it! Before that we lived in London & Bristol but decided to trade in city life for country living and so far so good! I love nature, animals, climbing mountains, keeping fit and healthy, music and being in the great outdoors. We sail at Emsworth Sailing Club and own a mirror dingy and a Cornish Shrimper. Its a great place to see the seals! Animal lovers only welcome at the Coach House! 2 dogs and 2 cats live here. Favourite Holiday destinations have to be Nepal, India & Colombia. Closer to home we love Tarifa in Andalusia and Cornwall. However living where we do, we don't go far these days... we have the beach, the hills and all the toys to play with here. The Coach House is in the grounds of our house and we welcome guests with open arms.
