Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
My renovated cottage within 2 miles of town of Stornoway, situated in a crofting community. In my croft I have Hebridean sheep and hens.
Clachanach Beag has panoramic views over the town, out into the Minch and the hills of the mainland. It is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring.
The cottage is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, cyclists, business travelers, and their furry friends (well behaved pets welcome).

The space
The cottage is a self contained unit consisting of bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/living/eating space and an easily accessible deck.
There is a mezzanine level accessed by a steep loft ladder and has limited head room. This space has a futon and extra bedding can be arranged.

Guest access
There is plenty parking at the cottage which sits in the garden of the main house.

Other things to note
Visitors can roam freely around the garden and may have access to the croft if it is free from animals.
In spring I hope to have lambs.
I also have an electric car charger that can be used for the cost of the electricity.

Neighbourhood highlights

Benside is a wonderful location as it is on one of the higher points and gives fantastic views of the surrounding country side. There are a variety of garden birds to see and hear in the garden.
