Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
200 year old former merchant’s house steeped in history, lovingly restored. Previous neighbours include the captain of the Titanic & the White Star Line owner on the same tranquil, beach front street. Visit the famous beach sculptors ‘Another Place’ by Sir Anthony Gormley. Direct trains from Waterloo station every 15 minutes into Liverpool City Centre (15 min ride) and to the new Everton Stadium at Sandhills (10 mins) where you can also pick up the free shuttle bus to LFC on match days.

The space
The rooms available are both generous in size, one room with a king sized bed and a sofa bed (should it be needed). The other double room overlooks the lake with views to the sea and North Wales.

Guest access
You will be welcome to be as social or private as you wish. There are two reception rooms you can make yourself at home it. Downstairs, you are welcome to use the courtyard garden, dining room and kitchen as required. There will usually be some room in the fridge to store meals but please don’t feel the need to bring milk, coffee, tea etc as they’ll be already here and available to use whenever. Whilst we don’t provide breakfast, you will always be welcome to make yourself some toast as you start your day.

Other things to note
Free parking on street outside house. To arrive from Liverpool John Lennon airport, catch the bus to Liverpool South Parkway train station and take the train to Southport (run every 15 mins, except Sundays). Alight at Waterloo and the house is less than a 10 minute walk. If arriving in Liverpool at Lime Street station, walk to Liverpool Central and get the Southport train to Waterloo.

South Road, just around the corner from the house, has multiple eateries and restaurants offering you world cuisine for evening and breakfast options.
