I stayed for 4 weeks in this place and I really loved the central location. Metro is close, the Jewish Quarter is literally across the street and you can be at the chain bridge within 10 walking minutes. The place was small and basic, but clean. The bathroom was cleaned regularly. What bothered me a little was the fact that the room was separeted through a glass wall from the kitchen area/entrance. Whenever someone turned the light on, my room was brightly illuminated, which woke me up a few times in the middle of the night. Agi was very friendly and helpful. The problem was that it was almost impossible to reach her. When I arrived at the place on my first night at around 11pm I had to wait for an hour till someone answered my messages (that I had been sending since the day before on Airbnb and to the phone number given by Airbnb) and let me into the building. After a 14 hours trip and the first time in a foreign city, this was not a great experience. Whenever I had a question and tried to contact the hosts, I had to wait 1-2 days or didn't get an answer at all and had to ask again. Other than that, as said, Agi and her brothers were very nice. All in all I can recommend staying there - if the communication problems are sorted out by the hosts.

The location can't be beat; it was super easy to get anywhere I wanted to go around Budapest. The only problem was the check-in procedure. Make sure you tell the host exactly when you will be arriving since there is a buzzer system to enter the apartment building and you will need the host to come open the door for you.

The location is impeccable. It is at the center and everything is walking distance. The communication is nothing short of perfect. I was in contact with Agi. She is an amazing girl. Very helpful. I have an earful of questions for her before i am coming and she gives me in detailed. If I am coming back to Budapest, I would rent this place immediately. Maybe I see you again next year.

The room is in a great location and roommates are very kind. The room is a tiny room. The bathroom is tiny. I'm 5 ft 4 inch and just fit the bed. The apartment decorations are very nice and authentic. The Airbnb post photos are slightly different than how the room looks. The lamp on top of the bed isn't there. There are some exposed wires form the wall but nothing that will get in the way from staying in the room. Agi was great in communication and check in. The location is really fantastic. Really close to everything and the night life ruin bars.

Kata's and Ágnes' place is a great place to stay in Budapest. The place is in the heart of the city, and walking on any direction will get you to any of the closest multiple tourist attractions, pubs, bars, restaurants, night clubs and shops. Everything just a few minutes walk, and if you need to go further you can reach the metro, tram or bus, which are really close too. The room was really comfortable and the place was clean. I had to work from there and I didn't have any problem, the wifi was great too! Kata and Agi were awesome hosts, really friendly, welcoming and communicative, and they would help you with anything that you need. There's no doubt, that this is the Airbnb to get in Budapest!

This is an excellent place to stay if you want somewhere that is centrally located with easy access to public transportation in Budapest. The older style building is charming, even if I never fully mastered the locks. Kata and Agi are very friendly if you have questions, but they are also great about giving you your own space and privacy.

Loved the location of the flat, close an underground station, coffee shops, synagogue and bars. Perfect for a traveler who's looking for affordable accommodation and great hosts.
