This house was perfect. Carol is very communicative and resourceful. Her house is nautical themed and very comfortable. We slept with the doors cracked so we could hear the waves all evening. The wood burning stove was amazing and super warm. We were walking around in shorts in the house. The house has everything you could possibly need and is very accommodating. Its a beautiful location near lots of prime mushroom hunting! We found cauliflower, pigs ear, chanterelles and King boletes. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely home that serves as a great base for the NW area of the peninsula. Carol has thought of everything you might need - movies, books, firepit, patio chairs/table, and a fully stocked kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the sheets deluxe! The beach at the end of the street was a bonus - we did not know about that until we arrived! Thank you, Carol, for sharing your lovely home and for the flowers and wine for our anniversary - so thoughtful!

The location was amazing and the photos do not do justice to the view. Everything was neat and well organized and all the questions we might have had about the house were all laid out in the welcome notes (pay attention to them - a couple of the appliances had quirks). There were also some helpful brochures and maps for the area, and an access pass we were able to use to visit the nearby reservation.

This house was the perfect get away for our family of 4. It was so very clean and nicely decorated. Carol thought of everything. So many white fluffy towels. The view is amazing day or night - we watched eagles flying by daily. We enjoyed the fire pit and watched the stars. The beautiful sand beach is just a short walk from the house. You have to check out the master bathroom shower - even my teenagers used that shower. At night, we fell asleep to the sound of waves hitting the rocks. During our stay we visited Cape Flattery and the Makah museum. We also took on the 9 mile Ozette Triangle Loop hike - where we saw deer on the beach and sea otters in the waves. Another day we hiked 2nd beach (this was just beautiful at low tide with sand and a tide pool area) and hiked a couple of short trails at the Hoh Rain Forest. The only down side for our teenagers was no cell service or WiFi - which was a plus for us!

A very beautiful home. Lots of room both inside and out to relax and/or have the kids run around. All the necessary amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms were very convenient as well. It was a clean home and Carol was easy to communicate with. Had a great stay!

From the second I began engaging with Carol, she was attentive, respectful and a swift responder! She made sure we had all of the information we needed for our weekend away. We stayed at Carol's home for a weekend - a surprise birthday party for my mother in law. The home comfortably fit 10 people. And what a lovely home it was! Clean, spacious, beautiful, warm, and with an excellent view. We honestly didn't know what we were getting into - the seclusion, peacefulness, tranquility - it was everything we'd hoped for. We took long walks on the beach, grilled, had bonfires, what a wonderful weekend. I would definitely recommend Carol's home to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend/week-long getaway. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
