Stay in our beautifully crafted wooden Shepherd’s Hut, set in your own private south facing field next to the river. Surrounded by rolling green hills, this is the perfect eco-getaway, with solar powered electricity and extensive outdoor space. Enjoy the elegant interior furnishings and cosy wood stove, and explore the many walks on offer directly from your doorstep.
Ideal for dog owners, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers, or anyone looking to get away from the normal hustle and bustle of life.

The space
The Shepherd's Hut has been lovingly crafted and furnished to provide a uniquely stylish and cosy retreat. Showcasing the natural wood and slate furniture that we make for a living, the space contains cleverly designed table and benches that slide out from under the bed for spacious indoor dining, and lots of hidden storage for your belongings.
The Shepherd's hut has been very well insulated and even on the coldest winter days you will be dry and toasty inside with the wood burner and the gas-powered shower. No need to bring wood, we have a healthy pile for you to use.
There is a toilet and shower attached to the back of the cabin with spectacular views.
Enjoy your breakfast at the table outside and maybe spot the grey heron flying in to catch his food from the river. In the evening you can sit outdoors around a bonfire to gaze at the stars and listen out for the owls, or watch the moon rise over the fields from your comfy bed.
Keep your eyes pealed for badgers and otters, and enjoy guaranteed peace and quiet and connection to nature.
There is no wi-fi, but there is mobile phone reception.
Parking is available close to the Hut, either by our house or a short walk on the other side of the hedge.
