The space
This mansard style house was built in 1969. The owner and builder of this beautiful home constructed the Poplar Street Bridge in St. Louis, Mo. Leftover material from the bridge was used to build the home. It has been fully remodeled with the integrity and charm of the house maintained. This lakeside retreat sits on the beautiful Lake of Egypt offering gorgeous scenery. Bring your fishing gear land swim suits as these are musts when spending time at the lake.
Enjoy taking a spin with the 2 -one person kayaks and a canoe on property.
Pontoon tours are available for rent.
The house has a full kitchen and washer and dryer. With three bedrooms and a full bed down stairs (petitioned off from the family room ), there is plenty of space for you and your extended family to enjoy our treasured home. There are three bedrooms on the upper floor. The master bedroom offers a king size bed whereas the other two rooms offer queen size beds. There is a full bed downstairs as well. The house has a game room for the kids and a party room for adults. On the deck outside you will find a wood burning fire pit as well as a charcoal grill guests provide the firewood and charcoal..Constructed in 2022 is a patio down by the lake with a connecting swim platform. There are lots of inside and outside spaces to have a lovely family get together or a private romantic getaway. We cannot wait for you to enjoy our home as much we do. Welcome to Lake Living!
