The South Loop Hide-Away is close to The Field Museum, Soldier Field, Grant Park, Lake Michigan, Shedd Aquarium, Magnificent Mile and McCormick Place. The neighborhood is great and only a block from one of Chicago's largest public transit hubs.. The space if good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The building was used by Al Capone to facilitate his South Side operations.

The space is right next to the "El" train tracks and does get loud at times.

I do not recommend this property. The track of the train is just 4 feet away from the property windows, so the noise level is too loud and makes nearly impossible to sleep to everybody, not only affects light sleepers as advertised On the other hand, the Air Conditioning/heather …

Response from Charlie:
It is clearly listed that the space is next to the train tracks and that it does get loud. Rodrigo does not mention that he tried to have 3 people stay at the unit instead of the 2 that he paid for. After trying to charge for 3 people, Rodrigo fabricated several complaints. He said that we advertised for two bedrooms. We advertise one bedroom with a pull-out for for extra guests. He also said that the furnace was too loud. The furnace is modern, but does have a sound when the fan is on. By no means is it overly loud or disruptive. Rodrigo seems like a nice person and it seems like some of the amenities were lost in translation.

I actually ended up not staying at Charlie's place due to a change in my scheduling, but he was really kind and accommodating about my flakiness.
