Restored in 2016 in Jackson Lodge Style, The Lodge is perfect for couples, families or groups. Beautiful kitchen, 1.5 baths, two enclosed bedrooms (one queen sofa sleeper in small Library room, and one queen log bed in beautiful and spacious Master Bedroom with en suite bath plus two twins bunked in alcove) and a sofa sleeper in the large Main Room. Incredible views and sunsets, amazing year-round recreation both on site and very close by. An exclusive vacation spot and family reunion location.

The space
Real log lodge decorated in Jackson Lodge style. Restored and remodeled in 2016. Granite, travertine, logs, slate and stone throughout. Calm, relaxing and peaceful spaces.
A traditional log lodge with a master bedroom with beautiful en suite; another small enclosed bedroom with queen sofa sleeper; the large Main Room with queen sofa sleeper, dining area, sitting areas and piano; a gorgeous large fully-stocked kitchen with all new appliances; and a half bath. All bedding and bath linens are, of course, included. A shady large backyard with teak dining set, Borrow Barn with dozens of activities, our Trout Pond with two pedal boats, and complimentary Storage Room with additional cooking and serving equipment make your stay very easy for small and large groups. Price includes Lodge only. Please contact us through Airbnb messaging for large group pricing including adding one to four cabins, plus one of two new glamping tents each with two beds. A two night/three weekday family reunion, for example, with 11 beds and 5.5 baths (all in 5 separate buildings) starts at $1040. Weekends slightly more. PLEASE NOTE: as is typical with inns, there is a part-time residence in the lower level of this building for the innkeepers so that any immediate needs of our guests can be handled quickly, especially for family reunions and other large get togethers. In this case, the residence area is in the lower level of The Lodge. Guests have access to the entire main floor of The Lodge and use the main/front door. The lower level of The Lodge is accessed by the innkeeper only through the side door of The Lodge then the lower level door is right inside. If you have any questions regarding this arrangement or would like to ask for no innkeeper to be available, please ask through messaging.
Set in the Heise Hills about 15 miles east of Idaho Falls, our Inn provides a quiet and peaceful stay while being very close to dozens of year-round recreational opportunities. Beautiful real log cabin with front porch, 2 queen log beds, 3/4 shower bath and mini-kitchenette with dining table. Spacious, clean and peaceful.
If you are bringing a pet, you must please say this in your Airbnb booking request. $15/pet/stay. No cats; no fighting breeds; no dogs on beds at all; put in kennel you provide if left for even a second alone in room; picked up after immediately.

Our motto is "Stories worth sharing rarely begin with 'So, we decided to stay in.' " Our Inn has the famous Borrow Barn for dozens of complementary on-site activities including pedal boats, bicycles, bocce, croquet, badminton, a 9-hole freestyle disc golf course with maps and scorecards, etc. There's also an amazing array of recreation in the Heise Canyon. For a slower pace, taking a scenic drive along Snake River Road is also awesome. Regardless of the activities you choose, our Inn is a peaceful and sweet spot to reconnect.

I am a wife, mom of 3 and grandma of 8, and a bit of an adrenaline junky-- whitewater rafting, zip lining and skiing. Also one who loves the peace and quiet of the countryside. Favorite book: Crossing to Safety by Wallace Stegner. Movies: The Princess Bride; Oh Brother, Where Art Thou; The Secret Garden. Five things I can't live without dental floss, Chacos and Haflinger clogs, one good pair of earrings, lip balm, and reading glasses. Favorite food: raspberries. Favorite travel: weekend road trips and national parks. Life motto: "No regrets."
