Waterfront living in the heart of the arts, culture, civic and business centre of New Zealand's capital city. Shed 21 – a Wellington landmark – was the "grandest woolshed in the country" before conversion into spacious apartments in 2002 under the direction of acclaimed architect Sir Ian Athfield. Our double guest bedroom, large living and dining space, and modern kitchen will be yours to enjoy. We love hosting and look forward to your stay. Nau mai, haere mai!

The space

Shed 21 is a Category I Historic Place converted by a celebrated local architect in 2002. Our apartment has a large double height living space looking over the city, generous dining area, modern kitchen, and lots of sun. Upstairs on the mezzanine floor there are two double bedrooms - master and guest - and the main bathroom. This is modern living in the city.

Guest access

Kitchen, living, dining, toilet and laundry downstairs and to the guest bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Everywhere except the master bedroom. Help yourself to the kitchen if you feel like cooking.

Interaction with guests

We work during the week and are out and about on weekends. If you want space, we're happy to give it, but if you want to join us for dinner or a glass of wine then that's fine too.

Great location in a really attractive and unusual apartment Angus made us feel thoroughly at home and in the short time we had we were able to visit the national museum, walk round the harbour and sample some of Wellingtons nightlife So convenient god our early blue ridge ferry early the next morning Thoroughly recommend this stay

We were only in Wellington for 2 nights - arrived on the ferry and left on the train. Angus and Seb's place could not have been better located for us! The flat is along the harbour and was a amazing home! The building is full of character and their place was very comfortable. The open plan living area is very sociable and the bedroom located upstairs is a good size. Angus and Seb were fantastic hosts and covered all the detail - from meeting us at the harbour to the chocolates on the pillow!! They had brilliant suggestions on where to go for food which were spot on! Thank you guys for a wonderful stay!

I could not recommend Angus and Sebastian's place enough. A stunning home and superb location with wonderful hosts. I was made to feel wholly welcome and Angus and Sebastian offered lots of great recommendations of things to do and see over a glass of wine or two. For a relaxed and homely time in Wellington - this is the place. Thanks again guys, really appreciate it!
