Bob is awesome! Great stay, great suggestions and all around good guy. Had a lovely stay in the love shack. So fun to take an outdoor shower, hike and as others have mentioned - delicious breakfast with great conversation! Hope to visit again soon ~ :O)

Wish we could have stayed longer - one night is definitely not enough to experience this place and the surrounding area. The Love Shack is a rustic little cabin in a beautiful forest. The outdoor shower was great. We made a fire in the fire pit and woke up to a deer walking right past our window. Bob is a wonderful host with lots of interesting stories and great advice for anyone who wants to see the sights around the area. The breakfast was delicious as well. Would definitely come back here!

This was my first AirBnB experience and it definitely surpassed expectations! Awesome place to stay, and has the perfect balance of privacy and openness. It's within 15 minutes of Kingston and really close to great hiking spots! Bob gave excellent recommendations and was overall an awesome host (who makes awesome breakfast sandwiches!!) Tried to brace the outdoor shower but it was a little too cold for me- definitely looking forward to coming back in the summer

Came here for a weekend getaway with the girlfriend. We wanted to try something unique and romantic and the love shack was the perfect fit. The surrounding area has tons of eateries, and the hiking spots were amazing. The house was cozy, and the shower toilet complex nearby was adventurous and exciting, even in the cold! Bob was a truly kind man and a wonderful host. He offered us several great suggestions (hiking, food) and even offered us daily breakfast with fresh eggs from his own chickens! Overall the fantastic trip exceeded our expectations.

We enjoyed a great long weekend at the tiny house! The setting is beautiful and relaxing. The "Love Shack" is cute and cozy with a comfy bed and (since we were there in October) a robust space heater. The outdoor shower is probably best enjoyed on warm weather days, but as backup, the house shower is an option as well. Bob was responsive to our questions and flexible on check in and checkout details. The egg sandwich and coffee/tea breakfasts were a treat--tasty, hugely convenient and (especially/uniquely) a great way to get to know your hosts Bob and Jo, who are very welcoming and helpful with extensive knowledge about the area. Those eggs come from their own chickens (and Bob gave us a dozen to bring home). In addition to the most local eggs you'll ever eat, you get to enjoy staying at a place with solar panels, a vegetable garden, an eco-friendly composting toilet (very user friendly but since it's outside, dress warmly if it's cold overnight), and a few deer frolicking from time to time. Rosendale is very convenient (especially liked the tea shop there), and it's a great home base for getting to the Widow Jane Mines, Saugerties, Kingston, New Paltz, Woodstock, Kaaterskill Falls, and other area destinations. Each night when you return to the house, Bob and Jo's illuminated peace sign welcomes you from the deck. We'd be glad to stay at the tiny house again.

My husband and I enjoyed our upstate NY weekend gateway at Bob's place. His small cabin were very peaceful and we enjoyed outdoor hot shower in rainy and chill weather at the beginning of fall. He provide us fresh egg sandwich in the morning which come from his own chickens! He also gave us a dozen of fresh eggs that we can bring back to Brooklyn. We explored Woodstock, Kingston and Rosendale during our staying. Many great hiking and walking areas and small shop, restaurants and farmers / flea markets in every town. His place is very good for weekend gataway for city people like us.
