Where you’ll be

Dunbar, East Lothian, United Kingdom

Golden Oak Chalet is situated on a farm just 3 miles from Dunbar. Guests will be able to access lovely countryside walks directly from their front door and if you time it right and look north you may even get a glimpse of the Northern Lights.

The historical site of Doon Hill is only 1 mile from the chalet.

Golden Oak is minutes away from stunning beaches where guests can enjoy walks and for the more adventurous there is surfing, paddle boarding and canyoning available.

For guests with families and young children the Chalet is close to the very popular East Links Family Park where the whole day can be spent and much fun had by all.

A recent attraction to the area is Foxlake Adventures where there are activities such as wake boarding and assault courses over water.

Dunbar itself offers a wide variety of retail shops, cafes, restaurants and of course no seaside town is complete without fish and chips. It also has a historical working harbour, lovely coastal walks, two golf courses and a well equipped leisure pool which has a wave machine and flume. Dunbar is the birth place of John Muir, this can be found on the high street.
