You've come to Bangkok to train — and to win. Step inside a lost Muay Thai action film from the 1980s in our cinematic hotel set. Inspired by the golden age of kickboxing cinema, this set is both luxury room and dojo. Train with a real punching bag, gloves, pads, wraps, guards, pads and more next to old trophies and vintage furniture. There’s a supremely comfortable king bed, smart TV streaming media/video games, and a great view for couples, solo warriors, or fight fans in pursuit of victory.
The space
THE STORY
Step onto the set of "Bloodfist IV – Never Surrender," Cinematique Filmworks’ attempt to cash in on the '80s martial arts craze. Shot on location in Bangkok, the film was packed with every trope: American drifter, exotic love interest, murdered friend, revenge tournament ... you know how it goes.
This cinematic set features an actual Muay Thai training facility right in the room, complete with a heavy bag, gloves, wraps, pads, shin guards, and rubber gym flooring. There is equipment for two here, ready for you to sweat it out sparring or strike poses for your socials to capture this one-of-a-kind Bangkok experience.
While the studio is long gone, the set remains, reimagined as part of our boutique cinema-themed hotel. This is where your Bangkok story starts. Will it be a training montage? A comeback? A love story in a fight gym? That’s up to you.
THE ROOM
Both fight gym and luxury room, this set is loaded with character, comfort, and cinematic flare.

• Vintage Muay Thai trophies and hand-painted retro Thai fighting movie posters
• Detailed decor, from old trophies and training instructions to old-school fight magazine covers

• Smart TV with access to our in-house media + retro game streaming server
• Large windows, natural light, dark blinds, and air-conditioning
• Full private bathroom with rainfall shower
• Director’s chairs for watching fights or gaming

The Studio
Cinematique is a boutique theme hotel inside a restored heritage building just off Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok’s Phra Khanong district — once home to some of Southeast Asia’s most legendary movie theaters.
Each room is a different film genre, preserved like an abandoned sound stage: a love story, a period epic, a sci-fi fantasy, a martial arts showdown — and this one, a moody story rooted in ancient Thai folklore.
The Location
• 5-minute walk from BTS Phra Khanong
• Quiet soi off Sukhumvit Road
• Surrounded by nightlife, street food, dive bars, art galleries, and near the best things Bangkok has to offer
• Easy access to Bangkok’s major shopping malls and attractions
Phra Khanong is a great neighborhood full of great food, cool nightlife and fun experiences. Just minutes away by BTS from the malls and hotspots, it's stylish and authentic.

Guests receive perks downstairs at Arcadia Live, our neon-noir cafe, barcade, and events lounge. By day, it serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and coffee. By night, it becomes a retro arcade bar and live events space, with craft beer, games, DJs, pool table, movie screenings, comedy, live music, magicians, wrestling, and other flavors of fun. Grab a craft beer and make new friends while battling aliens on vintage arcade cabinets.

This is a self-check-in hotel. You'll receive a single unique code that opens the building entrance, the hotel entrance, and your private room door.
The hotel starts on the mezzanine level and includes access to a shared coworking lounge, which will soon also screen films for guests.

• No Smoking Indoors: Guests may not smoke in their room. Guests may smoke outside on their private terrace, on the rooftop, or in our outside smoking area on the ground floor. There is a 5,000 baht charge for smoking indoors.
• Stairs Required: Unfortunately, there is no elevator. That means, to our great regret, that we cannot accommodate guests with mobility limitations.
