Other things to note
Make time for the ferry from Mukilteo if you are coming from the south. The ferry runs every 30 minutes most of the time between 0600-midnight. Please check the ferry schedule online.
Please watch for signs at the lake regarding safety for swimming. There is algae growth in the lake that makes it occasionally closed for swimming. Fishing and boating are typically allowed.
This is our family home and we ask that you treat it kindly. We want everyone to feel a warm welcome here. You can help us keep things clean and in good repair.
Please remove your shoes when you enter the home.
This house is served by a community well, so use water wisely.
We have a septic system and ask that you follow all instructions posted in kitchen and bathroom.
While children are welcome, please watch them carefully as our home is not "baby proofed." Please do not allow rough play inside the house.
Please leave your soiled linens and towels in the laundry room before you leave.
Accidents happen, please let us know if anything spills or breaks so we can take care of it promptly.
Lock all the doors and windows carefully.
Replace the key where you were instructed to look for it.
We have a property manager on call at all times. They will contact you for check-in paperwork.
I love hosting people in my home, and making them feel like welcome family and friends. I have traveled to many countries and found staying in private homes one of the best ways to get to know a place. I want people to feel relaxed and safe, and to share as little or as much about themselves as they wish.
We are in our airbnb home intermittently, so some of the time, we will be home in our private quarters while guests are enjoying the downstairs. We have 7 children and 10 grandchildren between us, so this is a family friendly home.
