Located one block North of Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood, on a quiet lovely street with lots of trees, grass, cute houses and friendly neighbors. One block from Whole Foods and coffee shops. Very close to dining, shopping, entertainment, and more. The town house contains a jacuzzi tub, bench press and weight sets, office, patio on first floor, and a large balcony on 4th floor with spectacular views of Los Angeles. Watch the beautiful sunset every night as the balcony faces west.

The space

This is a two bedroom, two and a half bathroom, spacious town house with over 2000 square feet for you and your guests to spread out and be comfortable. These Luxury Art Lofts, built in 2009, are stylish town houses with 2 story living rooms (very high ceilings) & 4 level floor plans. Our space is located North of Santa Monica Blvd in Central West Hollywood, featuring 2 bedrooms, an office, open stairways to sunny lofts with skylights, 2.5 luxury bathrooms, private jacuzzi, work out area, communal hot tub, all in a private gated community.
1st Floor - Living Room & Kitchen:
Includes large flat screen TV, PS3, Apple TV, a record player & records, and high speed WIFI. Also includes a very large and possibly the most comfortable couch you have ever sat on. Whole Foods is one block away, bring back some good grub and take advantage of the high-end kitchen for home cooked meals. Kitchen includes a large stove, a toaster oven, fridge and freezer, a complementary bar area, microwave (with empty cupboards all around it for you to use and store food), and an empty wine chiller for you to store your vino. Kitchen has an island with drawers, top one empty, bottom two contain supplies such as plastic bags for the trash can and recycling bin (please recycle!). Start the morning off with some coffee in the kitchen, which has both a coffee maker and a Nespresso.
2nd Floor - Office Loft
Plenty of desk space for 3 to 4 people to work. Two comfortable chairs in office (additional chairs downstairs in living room by the large mirror) and a retro orange couch that can also fold down into a flat bed. It's the owners favorite piece of furniture but he has strange tastes.
3rd Floor - Master Bedroom / Laundry Room:
Includes king size bed, large walk in closet with empty cloth hangers, rack, dresser, and shelves, reading nook with two chairs, spacious bathroom, large shower with two showers heads in it, a rain one from above and a second detachable one, and a bench to sit down. It also has a jacuzzi tub, a bidet and a his and hers sinks. Outside the bedroom and down the hall is a door that opens to the laundry room which has both a washer and dryer and lots of shelving space to store things.
4th Floor - Second Bedroom / Balcony
Includes a queen size bed, a full bathroom and shower with a skylight. Two desks. This bedroom contains the best part of the whole town house, the large balcony with a beautiful scenic view of Los Angeles. It is facing west and I highly recommend enjoying the sunset up there with a glass of wine. The balcony has two "anti-gravity" recliners to relax in.
The Neighborhood:
Our location is convenient to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and more. Make yourself at home while you explore West Hollywood! Here are some personal recommendations and information from the owner: We are located North of Santa Monica Blvd in Central West Hollywood, and just two blocks south of the famous Sunset Blvd strip. In the morning I recommend Mocafe for Coffee and Breakfast (across the street from the Star Bucks by Whole Foods & Subway), Blackwood Coffee Bar, The Black Bicycle Café, or our favorite: Coffee Commissary. Venture out and sample some awesome West Hollywood restaurants during your stay. Try EVO Kitchen, The Carving Board, or Counter Burger for lunch. During the day it is fun to lounge by a pool at one of the famous nearby hotels on the Sunset Strip such as The Mondrian, The Standard, or The Tower bar (also great for lunch, dinner, or drinks). My favorite is The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. Great big pool, bars, restaurant. Inside the Roosevelt (which is rich with Hollywood history) I specifically recommend the Library Bar and the Spare Room (which has incredible contains, high end board games and fancy bowling. For dinner I highly suggest Jones Hollywood, it is an Italian, classic Hollywood restaurant with great cocktails. Connie & Teds for great seafood. Both are very close. Many more great restaurants on Santa Monica Blvd, Melrose Blvd, and the Sunset Strip. For bars, there are three in walking distance that I would recommend, first one is the closest, that is called Now Boarding, themed like old school airlines from the 70s, great drinks, and Woody the manager is the best. It's less then three blocks away on Santa Monica. I also recommend The Surly Goat and Laurel Hardware, both walking distance also on Santa Monica blvd. If you like shopping, visit the Grove (less then a mile away), the Famers Market, the Melrose Trading Post, or the Beverly Center. After a long day out exploring, spend some lazy time relaxing in the comfy living room or having a glass of wine on the first floor patio or watch the spectacular sunset from the 4th floor balcony in the anti gravity recliners. Or just head straight to your cozy bed.
Getting Around:
Public transportation is easily accessible from our place. There are several bicycle-friendly roads nearby, although you might want to rent a car during your stay or use Uber or Lyft which will arrive at the condo in a couple minutes and will take you around the nerigbhood very cheaply. I (the owner) own a car but rarely ever use it as Uber and Lyft is cheaper, don't have to worry about parking or tickets, or paying valet fees, and most importantly you don't have to worry about drinking and driving. Also I swear I don't work for either of those companies. ;)
Complementary food & drinks:
-Drinks, snacks, (great cheese from Wisconsin) & condiments in the fridge are for the guests to have & enjoy. There is a bar area in the kitchen with a bottle of wine, liquors, and snacks for the guests to enjoy. In the cupboard there is soup and canned goods for you to have. All these items may run out and not be re-stocked if I am away so I am afraid I can not gurentee that they will still be there, but if they are, enjoy.
Rules for condo complex:
#1 important rule: Please don't hurt or mess with the R2D2, my late grandmother won that for me at an auction when I was little and it means the world to me. ~ Andrew
#2 important rule: Keep noise both inside (TV, music, etc) and outside the condo at respectful levels and be very considerate of the neighbors at all times.
#3 important rule: -The glass sliding doors on the first floor that goes out to the patio must be closed after 9pm. The neighbor's bedroom windows are right next to the patio so if the TV is playing at night with the doors open they get upset.
# 4 important rule: In garage, park ONLY behind the red Prius in that specific spot in the garage, do not park in any other sport or behind anyone else
Other rules:
-No Parties.
-When the patio glass doors open during the day, keep the sliding screen door closed at all times to keep critters from getting inside the condo.
-No loitering in the outdoor hallway between condo buildings, especially at night.
-Don't use the community hot tub / spa area after 10pm
-The entrance and exit on the 4th floor is for emergencies only and not to be used for other reasons.
-The top half compartments of the freezer are empty and for guest to use, but the bottom half of compartments are filled with the owner's frozen food and that is off limits.
-On the second floor / loft there is a small closet filled with owners possessions, please do not use this closet and do not disturb owners possessions inside.
-On the forth floor there is a open closet room filled with owners possessions, the room is divided & hidden by a curtain, please do not access or use this closet and leave the owners possessions untouched.
-If using one or both of the street parking passes make sure to check street signs and hours and street cleaning days, owner not responsible for any tickets given while using parking passes.
-Return the parking passes to the center island counter in the kitchen. Return all keys as well. Thank you.
Other Things to Note:
Please remember that you will be staying in a home, not a hotel. Therefore, we ask that you treat our space with the same respect you would show your own. We travel often and have help from a company (Pillow) managing guest services for our home while we are away. Thanks!
Arriving & getting in:
-Our home has an electronic lock or lockbox located on or near the entrance.

Other things to note

Record Player and records available for you to use. Enjoy them at a reasonable volume and please handle both the record player and record with care and put them away the way you found them. :)
