Sitting comfortably, in the wild meadow, above Upper Rectory is our delightful shepherd’s hut, well equipped for your arrival - idyllically located overlooking tranquil pastures and woodland, it, provides a cosy romantic and welcoming retreat, with a traditional wood burner to warm up the evenings. Ideal for walking and cycling, nearby nature reserve is home to 170 species of birds.
Please note that WiFi is at best sporadic due to the rural location.

The space
This luxurious open-plan accommodation offers living/dining/sleeping area: with wood burner (kindling and logs provided winter time only)
Sleeping area has a blissfully soft double bed with generous storage space underneath, bedding, soft fluffy towels and towelling bath robes. Our shepherd’s hut is fully electrified with plug sockets including USB points. Everything to make stay comfy & wonderful. Regrettably no smoking within the hut.

The kitchen is adjacent to the hut where light meals can be prepared with all the basic cutlery, crockery, pots & pans, small camping hob and a cold box containing milk. Tea, coffee and sugar also provided.

The toilet is a cassette toilet next to the hut, with a wash hand basin providing hot & cold water, soft towels, liquid soap etc.

The wet room is a hop and a skip away at the bottom of the paddock in a separate building, with an electric shower providing limitless hot water and a heated towel rail. Shampoo, conditioner & shower gel included.

Outside of the Shepherd’s hut is a private enclosed garden with seating area, parasol, gas BBQ for dinner al fresco. Perfect for sitting out in the evening with a glass of wine, listening to the owls and watching the stars in beautiful mid wales. Pure heaven….
