This is a stunning property set in a beautiful location and will go beyond your expectations from the photos. Everything is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, and it is incredibly spacious for a one-bedroom let. There is an upstairs patio balcony, where we drank the chilled bottle of prosecco kindly left in the fridge for us by Terry and Caroline. Sipping wine whilst looking out to views of the rolling Le Marche hills and distant Sibillini mountains feels like a little piece of pardise. Downstairs, just outside the kitchen and sitting room there is a large outdoor wooden table plus loungers where we ate breakfast in the morning (there are figs and plums from the garden) and sometimes dinner in the evening. Looking out over the fields and hills or just sitting and reading a good book whilst listening to the sounds of the circadeas is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. As mentioned, we did need a car to travel around and there are no taxis, but there are a number of small pretty towns and eateries within a 10-20 minute drive. If you like hiking, the sibillini walk from Sibilla refuge has breathtaking views, but it's not easy, and you need to be well prepared. There are, however, more gentle walks that can be found. Terry and Caroline are extremely affable hosts who are attentive and approachable, my husband and I felt incredibly relaxed in their company. They live in the house next to the casa and are happy to answer any queries or offer advice. They also give their guests lots of space so you really feel at peace in the countryside. They have a dog, Saffy, who is just adorable, but Terry and Caroline are also very careful and considerate to check whether you like dogs. I think I could go on singing the praises of this beautiful region, Casa Edera, and Terry and Caroline as hosts. My husband and I have been lucky enough to travel to lots of beautiful places, and this is certainly one of the best places we've stayed.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The house is lovely, has beautiful views, and is well appointed. The area is wonderful for both hiking and the beach, and many other things between. Terry and Caroline are excellent hosts. They have tremendous local knowledge, and were able to direct us to some wonderful restaurants and events. I highly recommend a stay at their property.
