My place is close to restaurants and dining and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the comfy bed, the coziness, the light, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. A cottage with a sense of place and time. A retreat. Quiet pervades the old farm with woodlands and streams, yet near four-lane US 27 across the hill.

The space
No cable or wifi, just peace and quiet. There is old-fashioned radio, tape, cd, vcr with vintage videotapes, and record players. Also, a collection of classic movies to watch.

Where you’ll be

LaFayette, Georgia, United States

The house is in a rural area, sort of a village clustered along the main road, US 27. The country lane is lined with larger, older homes of long-time residents.

Hi, I am a retired social work professor, now operating a small farm producing vegetables for the home and local market. I am bilingual in Spanish and have worked extensively in Latin America. I love travel and like hosting interesting people from all backgrounds and places. I am also a local historian and preservationist, busy with projects in NW GA. Special interests in Appalachian and Cherokee heritage.
