Close enough to downtown Durham, but far enough to get away from it all! Jubilee Family Farm sits on 10 beautiful acres with a relaxing dock to enjoy some quiet time on and lots of fresh air. Fabulous food, world class theater and great entertainment await you just a short drive downtown. You'll find great hiking trails at the Eno River State Park, only a couple of minutes away. Close to Duke and a great place to stay for basketball and football games, parents' weekends and graduations.

The space

The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has bunk beds and a second full bathroom across the hall. Fish in the pond, walk around the farm and look for wildlife or plants in bloom, and relax as you enjoy a sunset on the dock or breakfast in the sunroom.

Guest access

You will have the house to yourself during your stay at our farm. As this is a working produce farm, we will come and go as needed to tend to the yard, gardens and orchards.

We were in town for a wedding. Perfect location for us. Home was quaint and perfect for our weekend get away. Thanks Kevin and Maggie.

Kevin and Maggie's place was the perfect getaway, in a beautiful secluded neighborhood. We came in town for a wedding and the location was ideal to meet up with friends and family. The house was quiet and very comfortable. It's a perfect place to unplug and spend quality time with friends and family.

We had a very nice, peaceful visit at Maggie and Kevin's place. The home is an updated simple farm house that is comfortable and clean. Maggie and Kevin - ore kind and polite hosts, very nice people to meet. The house is very conveniently located for trips into Durham, but out of town enough to enjoy the rural quiet and safe..

The place was great! Maggie and Kevin were great hosts! Nice and quiet place to stay. The house is set up with well water so it has a bit of a sulfur smell to it. I drank the water and it tasted fine. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Maggie and Kevin’s place was great. The farm property is massive and lovely to relax and explore, including a small body of water with a dock that is great to sit on and relax. Lots of great chairs to hang out in. Important to note that you are on a farm and there are animals next door (they did not bother us and you cannot hear them once inside the house). The kitchen is functional with basic pots and pans and dishes. The house is comfortable and spacious for a few people. One important thing to note is that there is no Wifi. This is normally not an issue, but there is also poor to no cell service inside parts of the house (though if you go outside you could get signal and in certain parts of the house). The water is also on a well, which isn’t a big deal— just smells a little with a different texture, but is fine to drink. Many outlets in the house and a general homey feel. The location is fantastic— remote, while still very accessible and 10-15 minutes to the heart of Durham. Maggie and Kevin were extremely accommodating. Kevin met us upon check in and check out, and Maggie was communicative and accessible via text. Was a lovely stay.
