Our home is on the north shore of Loch Etive - 15 miles (24 kilometres) from Oban - and close to the Highlands & Islands. Your bedroom is at the front of the house and your private shower room is downstairs. The price includes a cooked breakfast and this is the place for you if you love nature. There is a slipway for launching kayaks and swimming. The house is old and a bit knocked about the edges as it is Victorian - as are the plumbing, electric and heating systems! - but the welcome is warm.

This really is a treasure, a real home from home. Fiona made her own bread and jams and was just a perfect host, friendly, kind and helpful - could'nt have asked for more. We would happily go back!

Fiona made us feel very welcome and at home right from the start. She was keen to help us use their slipway to launch our canoe onto Loch Etive, to offer walking suggestions and to welcome us to share the 'bake off' final. Fiona made delicious fresh bread every day to grace th…

I am very lucky to live in this part of Scotland. I enjoy swimming in the loch at the bottom of our garden and walking our springer spaniel, Mabel. I share the house with my husband, David, who is a member of the local mountain rescue team and teaches Physics at the high school …
