Clifford Lodge is located within the stunning Dartmoor National Trust. There are beautiful walks along the river Teign, with ancient stepping stones, bridges, churches and pubs a short distance away. The Angler's Rest at Fingle Bridge is a 45 minutes walk away, and offers delicious food, drinks and Sunday roast. Easy access to Exeter (15min) and Torquay. Fishing and wildlife. Cosy home in peaceful location. No pets, sorry.

The space
Clifford Bridge is a small holiday park in a beautiful meadow on the bank of the river Teign. The Teign is a prolific salmon, seatrout and brown trout river and fishing tickets are available at the local shop. There are delightful opportunities for bird and wildlife watching with uninterrupted views across the meadow. There is a small children's play area with swings. Walks on Dartmoor are easily accessible from the lodge. Virginia Woolf and fellow poets camped in the very same meadow the lodge is located in.

The lodge is situated in a small park in an extremely peaceful and quiet location. There is a shop at Cheriton Bishop 5 min and the Cathedral city of Exeter a 15 min drive away. There is an abundance of wildlife and the attractions of Dartmoor on the doorstep. Pubs, ancient churches and stepping stones, National Trust Drogo Castle, the Teign Gorge and many more are explorable on foot or by car.
