My wife and I were in need of a getaway weekend and found this amazing ranch! We brought along our two dogs and had the most relaxing time. Lisa and Chris were beyond hospitable to both us and our pups. The first night we made friends with the neighbors and sat on the porch listening to music and telling stories. The second day we had a picnic, spent time with the horses but our favorite was getting to feed the goats! They even brought us a grill and we had a BBQ while enjoying the nature around us. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay and plan on returning throughout the year!

Lisa and Chris went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect balance between feeling welcomed and having our privacy. They let my 11 year old daughter help feed the animals and took us into the forest to see an old cemetery and find deer. We also did a trail ride with Lisa that was beautiful. The farm is impeccably maintained and their pride in and love for their home and livestock was evident throughout the property. We did hiking in the Withlacoochee and scalloping in Homosassa so it was very convenient to the things we were interested in doing. Please note the bathroom is in the barn but the reason I mention it is that it's so close that it was not an issue at all. I also felt safe walking in the middle of the night and because it's so quiet I felt very private in the shower.

Lisa and her husband were great hosts. Met us out front as we pulled in. Gave us a quick tour and showed us to our room. Very nice, very clean and the air conditioning was fantastic. We were allowed anywhere on the property and spent a few hours hanging out with their horses, chickens, goats and ducks. The pictures don't do this place justice. Even better than we expected. Highly recommended!

Adorable cottage and very relaxing. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and assortments of teas and coffee were provided as well as a tv and selection of DVDs. Never turned the tv on as we sat on the porch and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings in the glider chairs. Lisa was able to arrange for us to do a guided trail ride on her horses through the national forest adjoining the property - what a treat! Would definitely recommend. The bathroom - located in the stable building approx 25 yards away - was new, large, and as neat and tidy as the cottage. Thoughtfully included were an assortment of soaps and fresh fluffy towels.
