Experience in Paula's place was amazing. She is a great host and the place location was perfect, near the park, close to the beach and Waikiki, very quiet with all the confort I'm looking for. Also parking is free in the street and very easy to find. Internet connection very fast. Paula was really helpful and she was super kind host. Paula's place gonna be my first choice for my next trip in Hawaii.

Paula was very sweet and accommodating. This spot would be good for someone who is traveling or backpacking. It isn't the best fit for someone traveling for business.

Paula is a very nice host. She provided me with an upgrade for a week to a very beautiful sunny bedroom. She was accessible during the stay and was communicative. Thank you Paula.

Paula was an amazing host during my stay in Hawaii. Though having booked a very last minute trip, she was very responsive and accommodating to my sudden Airbnb request. Not only was the couch bed very spacious and comfortable, she even bought an extra fan for the weather. Having lived there for 6 years, Paula really knows the entire island inside-out. She gave me great suggestions to local beaches, hikes, restaurants, and native groceries! When available, Paula would accompany me to these places (great conversationalist and tour guide!). I truly felt I experienced the beauty of Oahu without having to fight the packed tourist locations. I definitely would recommend staying with Paula when visiting Hawaii!

The place is fantastic location. Very safe neighborhood. Allows for places to park free if you have a car. Couch is actually an ottoman so is like a bed. So no separate parts for back to sink into. Very comfortable. Paula the host allows you to keep food and cook in the kitchen also so you can save money this way. Paula herself is fantastic. She is beyond knowledgeable about the whole island. Because she is a photographer and a surfer she knows all the secret places. She is very welcoming. Upon my arrival she took time out to drive me around to point out good locations for me bc she knew I was there to film. She also gave me many suggestions for cheap healthy food. Both Paula and her roommate are working hard to make it there. Oahu is a tough place because it is so expensive. Paula even though not from there, has embraced the culture entirely. She lives a lifestyle that respects the people who have either always been there (native Hawaiians) or are also recent immigrants (large Japanese and Chinese population). She supports locally produced food and products and works hard to follow the traditions and cultural values that make Hawaii such an awesome place to be. So maybe there is another couch to rent somewhere else in Honolulu. But contributing to this one means you are supporting Hawaii and the youth that exemplify the Hawaiian values.
