Apartment Cinco is located on the Quinta da Vala estate, a small-scale holiday park in the heart of the Algarve, just a fifteen-minute drive from the famous coastline and beaches. As you pass through the gates, a sense of tranquillity greets you. The park is home to six apartments, a large garden, and a shared swimming pool. And if you’re lucky, the four stork nests on the property will be occupied!
The space
Apartment Cinco is a fully renovated holiday home located in the small-scale holiday park Quinta da Vala. The apartment is equipped with all modern comforts: a fully fitted kitchen, a contemporary bathroom with walk-in shower, and a comfortable double bed (160x200). In the living room, the sofa can easily be converted into an additional double bed (140x200). The entire property is fitted with air conditioning and offers ample storage space.
Outside, you can enjoy your own private veranda with comfortable lounge chairs and a cosy dining area – perfect for a relaxed breakfast in the morning sun or a glass of wine in the evening.

Quinta da Vala is a charming, small-scale holiday park in the heart of the Algarve, just a fifteen-minute drive from the famous coastline and beaches. As soon as you drive through the gates, you’ll instantly feel a sense of peace. The property currently offers six apartments and will soon also feature camping pitches. You’ll also find a swimming pool with sun loungers, and if you’re lucky, the four stork nests on the grounds will be occupied!
THE ESTATE
The holiday park is set in the countryside, surrounded by farms, orange groves, and vineyards. Beyond the gates, a large, lush garden with tall trees and expansive lawns unfolds. The apartments are situated side by side, each with its own private veranda and small front garden. A path with parking spaces separates this area from a larger section of the garden, where you’ll find the communal swimming pool with sun loungers, the reception, and the terrace.
Behind the garden lies a meadow with camping pitches, fixed safari tents, and the impressive stork nests.
LOCATION
Here, you can enjoy peace and tranquillity while staying close to all the highlights of the Algarve. Quinta da Vala is located on the edge of Porches, a charming village known for its ceramics and pottery. It’s just a 7-minute drive from the A22 motorway exit. Right next to the park, you’ll find a rural nature reserve where, in addition to storks, you can spot a variety of bird species.

Guest access
The apartment and veranda are completely private for guests. The other facilities are shared. The owners/managers live on the property, but in a separate area.
Other things to note
Quinta da Vala is still in development. This means we are continuously working to improve the apartments, the estate, and the future facilities. Of course, we always take our guests’ stay and comfort into account. We live here ourselves as a family on the farm: Álvaro and Iris (the owners), our two sons aged 8 and 11, and our dog Max. Max roams freely around the property.
