N.B please read ( other notes) The_Cozy_Batch is 10 mins driving from the city center. you can either drive or take the $2.50 bus or ride along the lovely Whanganui river and then the mighty Whanganui walkway to the historic city center or the bustling Saturday markets,the historic Waimaire paddle boat and #12 Tram or cycle up to Virginia lake and feed the ducks(bread can be supplied by arrangement) See the winter gardens or the bird aviary or cycle to the great kowhai park.

The space
The house has a super king bed in the main bedroom. Two singles in the 2nd bedroom and the sofa bed in the lounge. We are happy to makeup fold up and blow up beds for extra beds in lounges when you let us know advance.

we have a nice quite and friendly neighbourhood which backs onto a rural back drop. with tuis and fantails and wood pigeons flying around and pheasants calling at times during daytime and faint calls of the morepork at nights. and if you are lucky enough you might see one neighbourly deer on the hill. There is a lovely Bar and Eatery call Carolines Boatshed only 4mins drive away that overlooks the Whanganui river
