You’ll love my place because of the location and the outdoor space. In the traditional village of Zebbug, you will find our 500 year old Farm House.
We have a terrace overlooking a beautiful country view of the valley and a big vegetable garden with chickens that give us fresh eggs. Vibrant colours, a super kitchen & very spacious.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets).

It's in a quiet town with friendly neighbours.

I had to change my account for this house so these are the reviews I had from the beautiful people that stayed here.
Caroline is my amazing mother!

Review 1: The holiday was perfect and this even thanks to Jade's house. Very well located away from the movida of St Julian but halfway to the most incredible beaches of the island. A little difficult to find in the web of little streets, you'll be rewarded by the beautiful sight from the terrace. If you rent a scooter it is a perfect base to explore the island.

Review 2: Excellent hosts. Very friendly and helpful. We found zebbug a very quiet place and so central. House met all our needs. Washing machine and outside drying space meant I came back from holiday with nearly no dirty laundry. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare a good meal. We had our own parking space which was great. No time spent looking for parking.

Review 3: All the organization with Jade previous to our arrival was very easy and clear. From the moment we arrived in Zebbug Caroline was kind enough to pick us up so we did not have any trouble finding the place. The house was as pretty as on the pictures and the whole family was very welcoming and nice. The terrace is the perfect place to relax while enjoying a wonderful view on the Maltese landscape. If you are looking for a non-touristic area to stay in Malta we highly recommend this village, more especially this house. We will come back with no hesitation.

Review 4: Caroline was a wonderful and considerate host. She bought bottled water, fruit and cookies to greet us, showed us around the village and gave us good advice and directions on places to visit and how to get around. Jade replied to our queries quickly. We loved the atmosphere of the village - so different to the mass tourism of the main beaches. It is almost in the middle of the island so it is fairly quick and easy to get almost anywhere by car. The place is just like the photos. Clean and light and everything I needed to cook. There is a feeling of space and room to eat inside or outside.

Guest access

You will always have a parking space.
You have your own main door which is completely private.
This house it right over my families house. My whole family is very open minded and friendly.
You can be in the garden where we have fresh vegetables growing. You can also use the roof where you have great views of the valley and the 200 year old church behind you

Interaction with guests

We will greet you and leave you some fruit and water. My brother lives across the garden and my mother is down stairs and they are very respectful of your privacy but are very friendly if you want to interact. I will give my contact and I can help you when ever you need something I also live very close.

Other things to note

We are animal friendly so if you are allergic to animals this place might be a challenge.

This place is really nice and quiet. Mark's mum waited until midnight to welcome us, everything was clean, cold water in the fridge, and the view was wonderful. We didn't see anyone for the rest of our stay, we had our kitchen and bathroom, so if you like your own privacy, it is the place to go. I highly recommand it.

Very rustic place with loads of character and nice feel, great views because of being upstairs, central in Malta to, to go anywhere on the island. Buses 6 or 7 mins walk away in the village, although a car made life so much easier. People all very friendly.

Mark's apartment was nicer than expected. The balconies are lovely, so sunny all the time. Lots of natural light in the apartment. It had everything you could need including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Caroline even loaned me a hairdryer. Caroline was very welcoming and helpful but totally left us to it. I would definitely return. Excellent value for money. Thank you Mark and Caroline :)

The house is on the outer edge of a charming little village where you can really be surrounded by day-to-day Maltese village life. The village has a couple of small, affordable, and high quality stores, cafes, and restaurants, well-cared-for cats roaming the streets and demanding treats and affection, and the noises of goats and chickens in the background. We far preferred this rustic and peaceful home base to the more built up and touristy areas of Malta. Malta is small, and with a rented car nearly everything on the island is reachable within a half hour. The house itself is a large living area combined with a large and well equipped kitchen, surrounded by plenty of terrace that’s a floor above ground, perfect for a glass of wine in the evenings. The house is, as advertised, impressively ancient massive stonework, but with all the standard modern amenities in good working order. Mark and his Mum were friendly and responsive hosts, handling our delayed flight and late arrival with aplomb, and handing us the keys to a perfectly clean home. Mark was happily responsive throughout our stay by text, giving us hints about where to go and what to do. Highly recommended, and thanks for the wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful few days at Marks place. His mother Caroline was on hand to check us in and even gave us some lovely fresh eggs and tomatoes. They were delicious! There was basic food we could help ourselves too which was good and the kitchen was well equipped. It was a bit hot but there was a fan and the highlight was being able to open up the big doors and let the sunshine stream in. Zebbug is a quiet town which was perfect for us and as we had a car we could drive easily to sites around Malta. Thanks so much Mark and Caroline we had a lovely stay.

Mark's place is quite delightful, cosy with a pleasant terrace, and with a bohemian feel. Mark was very kind and welcoming and accommodated our late night arrival very flexibly. He also shared produce from his garden and hens. The location is quite quiet by Malta standards, and there are pretty views from the apartment.

If you want an authentic Maltese experience then this is for you. We had a wonderful ten days staying at Mark's home. It was everything we wished for! We like to cook and we made use of the great light open kitchen and all the fantastic Maltese produce from local farmers and Mark's garden. He even brought us fresh eggs from their hens. Mark's family are really lovely and genuine and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect for us away from the main touristy areas but with local shops and amenities nearby in walking distance. There was a great beach nearby and several walks along the cliffs. We took the bus everywhere but i would recommend hiring a car which we realised was pretty cheap anyway. Thanks for your hospitality Mark! Vick & Jim

I have a tattoo on my shoulder that says. BE Happy. So it kind of says it all .... I am very adventurous and into all kinds of sports. Into healthy food, yoga and meditation. I love people and socialising but at the same time respect other peoples space.
