Jeanne was communicative and helpful in making sure we got to her house. Her backyard is large and beautiful and it backs up to a river. The house is unique with a sunken living room and a lovely room. I enjoyed my stay and felt really comfortable in the house with the other guests who were staying at the time. She offers a unique location that I think many people could enjoy staying! One thing is to make sure you have screenshots of the directions because you will lose service.

Staying at Jeanne's place and meeting Jeanne added interest, local color and warmth to my mini-vacation. The property abuts to the Roaring Fork river and it was fun to watch the occasional paddle-boarder drift by. The house itself was unique with lots of character and afforded lots of privacy. Jeanne was tremendously accommodating and made sure that all amenities that one would expect were readily available. Next time I plan a trip to Aspen I will make every effort to stay here again.

Jeanne was a fantastic host--very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area! Her home is very quiet, scenic, and homey. Would definitely recommend staying with her and will absolutely consider staying with her again on our next visit to Aspen.

This home is in a wonderful setting: at the base of Independence Pass and away from the craziness of Aspen. You can sit in the backyard and watch people float down the river and some mornings watch a deer run through the yard. Jeanne, the host, is friendly and outgoing, loving the company. The room is in the home so you feel in many ways as if you're part of her family. The home may need a wee bit of updating, but it doesn't matter because it's comfortable and homey -- plus you get to meet her two dogs who are quite friendly and quite sedentary.
