Great location in beautiful granite bay. Folsom lakefront.
Quiet hours are 9pm-8am
Guest limit 6 people.
House is a triplex.
Home was nice but not everything worked . When we got into the place the house was 96 degrees . It was 108 outside . It was so unbearably hot in the house so we left for dinner came back 4 hours later and it was still 85 in the place . This made our first night unenjoyable . Once it cooled down over night it stayed pretty cool during the day. The tv wasn't working , the fans in the house didn't work. The water from the fridge tasted like plastic . The fridge itself was hot inside (i think this was because the house was so hot because once the house was cold it cooled down) positives , the house is right on the lake which was lovely . It open and bright. Nice layout . Aesthetically nice . Fully stocked kitchen. We thought check out was at 11 but it was at 10 and the cleaning lady was understanding about it so we really appreciated that. David was really easy to get ahold of and heard us out when we complained out the air . We appreciated their patience with us .
We enjoyed our time at David's beach condo. Waking up with a lake view was amazing. The pictures don't really do it justice. The windows were amazing and let in so much sunshine. It was so peaceful to sit on the deck reading in the sunshine. We found everything we needed to enjoy several days in Granite Bay. It's a quick drive to Sacramento and two hours to San Francisco.
My family just recently stayed at David’s lake house property. My review is based on my experience after staying there for 4 weeks. Pros: 1. Amazing view! You will have 180-degree view where you can enjoy beautiful sunrises. 2. Quiet evenings 3. Safe neighborhood 4. The house has everything you need. 5. More than enough sleeping areas for 6 people 6. Bright, airy, and spacious 7. Responsive host Cons: 1. Insulation - The owner was accurate in describing this property as part of a triplex. It’s not the side by side type but 3-tiered. The property is on the very top floor. Not only the neighbor downstairs will hear your footsteps but you will also hear their footsteps. Having kids with us was tough because we had to constantly remind them not to run or jump. 2. Parking - is limited. You will have 2 parking spaces and there are no street parking allowed in the neighborhood. If you plan to have people come over, they have to park at the nearest store (about a mile away) and pick them up from there. If parking and noise won’t be an issue, I highly recommend David’s Folsom Lake house property.
