My place is close to Trader Joes, Coffee Commissary, The Village Idiot, Blu Jam Cafe, The Grove, Target, Jones, Whole Foods, and so much more! You’ll love my place because of the location, the people, and the neighborhood. My place is good for solo adventurers and business travelers.

The space

It's an adorable 1920's bungalow that's quiet and in an extremely convenient location.

Interaction with guests

I am always available via text!

Other things to note

Please advise, I have one AC unit located in the kitchen and fans located throughout the rest of the space. I have a TV but no cable, although, I do have an Apple TV that has hundreds of prepaid shows/movies to choose from. My property was built in the 20's so it has the old charm but has a little wear and tear (ex: some rust in sink, and scuff on floors).

I was last minutes booking and Marina took me and even agreed that I left the bags early in the morning, thank you so much for that! The apartment is a bungalow, quiet and simple but had everything I needed. The location is very good, 2 minutes walk to the Merlose where there are bus stop and a lot of cafes, restaurants and shops. I recommend this bungalow if you are on a budget and want to have privacy and easy check in and check out with Marina who were very nice host.

The only good thing about this tiny house is the location very near Melrose Ave and close to some of LA's tourist attractions. A long story here but it must be made known for potential guests. The bad things about this tiny house are too many to enjoy a stay here. Marina seemed like a decent host when I was booking her bungalow replying to messages. Then I checked in for a week and as I was looking around it was clear the place had not been cleaned, it was very very dirty. There was ground in muck everywhere, the dust was months old very thick, I saw cobwebs under the tv stand, the floors were very dirty I had to keep shoes on and the living room rug and the sofa had several stains, the bathroom sink was black, the kitchen sinks were stained brown, the inside of the fridge had old food particles all over as did the microwave. It was as if the bungalow hadn't been lived in for a long while and not cleaned before it was left empty. There were long black hairs on the bed, the duvet cover was stained, there was a small cushion on the bed that was covered in dog hair and clumps of dust. While sitting on the sofa on day 3 I saw a flea on my arm. I had to take photos as I hadn't seen an Airbnb place as bad as this one and I've stayed in many other listings. I was charged $51 by Marina for a cleaning fee so since the bungalow was very dirty I messaged her explaining so and asked what she suggested. She replied hours later saying she had it cleaned and asked where I saw It was dirty. I offered to send her the photos and video and she didn't reply :) I heard no more from her proving she's not a good host. There was no attempt to resolve the issue and didn't cooperate. I was in contact with Airbnb regarding the cleanliness. They saw the photos and agreed that it wasn't acceptable to stay in Marina's place without it being cleaned but since she was ignoring my message Airbnb asked her to pay back $39 of the cleaning fee, whether it was paid or not is not my problem, I was refunded with the help of Airbnb staff. I had to be in the area since I was helping my friend who lives near and If I had of checked out right away I would have lost money which wasn't right as the fault was not mine.. I ended up basically using the place to keep my suitcases in. An apology for the dirt and the cleaning fee paid back would have helped the situation unfortunately Marina chose to ignore a guest when an issue was questioned which gained nothing. These days wifi is everywhere in most places in most countries, it's easy and necessary for hosts to keep...

Cozy little place right in the middle of weho. Easy access to anywhere in LA, lots of food nearby. Street parking but no permit needed on this block. Owner has a dog so if you're allergic might not be a good fit. Other than a bit of dog hair the place is perfect. Marina is great and very communicative, great host.

Response from Marina:
Just so future guests are aware, I actually do not own a dog. My good friend who does have a dog stayed at my place prior to her stay. I made an exception for her. :)

Marinas place was AMAZING! Perfect location right off of melrose. You can walk to local coffee shops and boutiques. Great stay for anyone who is traveling from out of town. The apartment was super cozy and beautifully decorated. I honestly felt like I was staying in my own home :). Had every amenity I needed -- very safe neighborhood as well!
