Interaction with guests
I will be present at your arrival because I live on the ground also so I will be there to inform you and answer your questions. But I adapt to the feeling of the guests, some prefer their privacy, others on the contrary want company ... we know to be discreet but welcoming!
We have Hardy a khmer dog (the black dog) that we leave in freedom the day. In the evening, we attach it so that it doesn't disturb your sleep by hunting at night.
It doesn't bite and is vaccinated and cared for. But we advise you to caress it the day of your arrival so that it can recognize your smell.
We also have a chicken coop.
Other things to note
Battambang is a majority Buddhist town and there is a Muslim minority so you will see many pagodas and by the river you risk seeing mosques as well.
Sometimes, early in the morning, you will hear pagodas on certain days of the week and during religious ceremonies.
The neighborhood is usually quiet. Occasionally, there may be traditional ceremonies, religious ceremonies, weddings and funerals.
These festivals are held in the homes of the people and there are no fixed days because it is the religious who decide dates according to the moon and the years of births so we will not know in advance unless we are invited.
It happens throughout Cambodia so sometimes you may be awakened early and hear some music or pagodas very loud.
This is part of the customs and customs of Cambodia.
