This penthouse is incredible. Its large volumes & high roof, the brightness of the light and the quality of the decoration bring a unique touch. The decoration was kept pure to enhance the beauty of the volume. Perfect for a honeymoon, it can sleep a 3rd adult or 2 kids on couches.

It is close to Le Salon du Panthéon and Panthéon. You’ll love it because of the kitchen, the coziness, the high ceilings, the views, and the location. My place is good for couples and families (with kids).

The space

In the very center of the Latin Quarter, located close to the famous Panthéon, charming Place de la Contrescarpe, Sorbonne University, Saint Germain and the gorgeous Luxembourg gardens, this apartment offers a unique opportunity:
•It is an exceptional deal: the apartment was designed with extra care to comfortably sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 kids (1 queen bed and 2 couches).
•It is located in a stone building constructed in the 1800s.

The building was fully refurbished and redesigned by an architect in 2016. Four similar apartments sleeping for 4 to 6 guests depending on the apt are available in the same building.

The Living area offers a generous space. It has 2 windows with view over Paris and the surroundings. Two extra roof windows (with automatic shades) bring sky light. The apt opens on the charming Place Larue which offers various terraces. No building blocks the view: it is open on the Rue Sainte Genevieve, and the famous and beautiful courtyard of the Ecole Polytechnique (host to many international conferences of researchers).

The bathroom is fully tiled with stone. It is on the left of the bed. It offers a bath as we as a large Italian type shower. The bathroom additional windows bring nice light and even sun in the morning.

The kitchen is fully equipped.

Once guest reservation is confirmed we will both sign a lease agreement coherent with Airbnb terms and conditions.

Guest access

The apt is entirely dedicated to the guest's stay.

Interaction with guests

I am used to interacting with guests as I own various apartments in Paris. I also travel extensively.

Renting an apartment is different from staying in a hotel. Guests are staying in a private building with other tenants – which implies some unwritten rules, some of them not so intuitive.
There are 2 main issues: limiting overall noise levels and being quiet at certain hours (especially due to jet lag). Keep voice low in the staircases namely when checking in or out, take off shoes at night to prevent foot step noise, limit children "run and jump all over", open sofa gently, and last but not least when having dinner a 3 AM cause of jetlag, think of neighbors :-) Thank you in advance on their behalf.
For rentals that are longer than 28 days, an extra cleaning fee and utility expenses will be charged prorate of stay length and season.
