Our Inn is in Historic Newport. Close to restaurants, family activities, great views, nightlife, sporting events, river fronts in Newport and downtown Cincinnati, and all Northern KY and Cincinnati hospitals. You’ll love the ambiance, the people, the outdoors space, the lively neighborhood. Make sure to check out Newport on the Levee with live music, comedy clubs, and a world class aquarium. Seasonal Ghost Tours, as well as Gangster Tours will give you a historic perspective of this quaint town!

The space

Our Innkeepers, Terri Smith and Jeff Zemanek had a vision to create a small boutique hotel allowing guest to experience the best of Historic Newport. This 1,000 sqft suite is a 2 BR (King Serta i-Comfort beds) with a fireplace in each, and a huge walk-in shower. Located just a few blocks from the Ohio River, we are located right in the heart of the historic district in a beautiful turn of the century building. If you would also like to experience the big city, a walk or carriage ride to downtown Cincinnati creates a whole new dimension. The end result is a luxurious stay, which combines the best of both worlds.

Guest access

The entire apartment is for our guests, along with our rear deck and a complimentary laundry area. Not to mention a private parking lot!

Interaction with guests

Jeff and Terri are mostly available. We live 5 minutes away. Our boutique is downstairs and the girls that work there are always happy to help!

Other things to note

Terri loves walking to the farmers market, shopping in the antique stores, and of course bourbon! Jeff loves all of the music venues within walking distance. We also enjoy walking the "East Row" and enjoying the 19th century architecture of the beautiful homes.

Teresa's place was absolutely beautiful. The beds were the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on and we were able to walk to downtown Cincinnati from her place. We loved it!

Response from Teresa:
Thank you, Jimmy! We loved having you. I traveled for many years, and there were too many hotels (even expensive ones) with bad beds and bad showers. To us, those were the most important items (along with being spotless). We are glad you loved the bed and your stay! Thank you!!

This flat is exactly as it appears in the pictures. It also has so many extra amenities, from waters in the refrigerator, snacks, plenty of nice towels, shampoos, coffee and coffee maker, all kitchen needs, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable and I would highly recommend it for a Reds game as the location was perfect. There is a wonderful coffee shop around the corner as well.

The apartment is super comfortable, from the beds and pillows to the excellent shower, and the comfy couch that supported more than one nap! We loved the location during our family reunion. The renovation of this period building into apartments has been done so beautifully, and all of the decorating is super thoughtful for guests. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. As an Airbnb host myself, I recommend it without reservation!

When our daughter suggested bringing 12 friends from Chicago to her Kentucky home for her 30th birthday, so that she could also celebrate with her 2 siblings from Lexington, and younger brother who is a student at UC, we said great! Then our "daughter" from Argentina who lived with us for a year as an exchange student 22 years ago, decided to join us with a friend. We ran out of sleeping space, so I booked the Newport Inn because it was close. A very nice place with comfortable beds, all they needed as far as amenities, and welcoming hosts! We enjoyed meeting Jeff and Terri and loved the lace. Would recommend it to anyone who wants an upscale apartment in Newport. I am sure...much nicer and more comfortable than a hotel! Thanks for all!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was beautiful and comfortable. There is a shared deck on the back, which was a perfect spot for our little group to relax. We walked to Newport on the Levee and Great American Ballpark easily. I will be back!

What I loved the most about my stay at Jeff and Terri location is everything. But I know that doesnt really say much about my stay so here's my review. The home is on the second floor and there are two entry points, one in the front and one in the back. Parking is very easy and self explanatory. You will have to climb one set of stairs for both entry points. There are hand rails for those that may need help walking up the stairs. There was always communication from day one to end of stay which is something you do not get while staying in a hotel. The owners met with the second set of guests and greeted them and gave them the ins and outs of the home. Next thing on my list is the open kitchen. I love an open kitchen, it helps with the entertaining of guests and keeps the conversation going. I loved how all the appliances are up to date. If youre a fan of home cooked meals like myself, then there are starter pots and pans. My only small suggestion is if youre into seafood or expecting to cook large meals just bring what you may normally use. There are small condiments and snacks and coffee available for you during your stay. Also would like to mention there are available restaurants and bars nearby as well. We just took advantage of the kitchen to save on money. I loved how there's so much natural light in the house. The first thing you notice when arriving during the day time is the skylights and the mirrors on the wall. This helped us out tremendously. The bedrooms have more than enough room and all have windows facing out to the street but not street level since this is on the second floor. Theres seating areas in each room which helps when putting on shoes or a place to lay out your clothes for the night. The beds are s(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) comfortable. So comfortable that they made us over sleep on our last day lol. Rooms are very clean and has a nice modern vintage touch. In some reviews people stated that they heard noises come from the street when staying in this home and the owners left ear plugs for your use. I am use to hearing noise since I am from a busy city outside of Chicago. If you're from a quiet town with no cars or neighbors then I can see how this may bother some. But to me its just normal regular noise of people driving by or people talking and walking by. Its very faint noise. Never bothered us at all. This home is unbelievably close to downtown Cincinnati. I was down for the music festival and was able to leave my location about 15 minutes before the concert started, find parking and to my seat right when the concert began. The drive to Paul Brown stadium was literally 9 minutes...
