Several acres are virgin timber, with ancient, massive trees, and a trail that goes around a pond and through the trees. Wildlife is everywhere, birds, coyotes, deer, fox, etc.

The space

The home is a unique mid-century-modern design built in 1964. It is in almost perfect condition, like a time capsule.

Please be advised that our goal is to have 8 engineering students living here, so if that is not attractive to you please do not request to stay.

Guest access

You will have access to all common areas in the home and the kitchen.

Have you ever had someone take care of you especially when you needed it? That is exactly what Scott did. He agreed to host my two sisters, my husband and me, although we were not engineers so that we could be together and stay very close to where my brother's funeral took place. And it came together in lightening speed. Yes, the house is basic as he states; yet, you might really enjoy the 1960's flashback as we did. Our mattress was perfect. The hospitality was nothing short of what you'd expect from your own family. Having flown in from the West Coast, East and South at a late hour, it was particularly appreciated when Scott cooked us breakfast our first morning. With nothing commercial nearby, that allowed us to relax, enjoy his cooking and the wooded view. We also enjoyed learning about the projects his engineering guests are working on.

The most challenging thing I have found after 2+ years and nearly 2,000 guests staying in my homes, is how to provide a Superhost experience even when I am not present. With 2 Airbnb locations in Colorado, 1 in Michigan, and coming soon a location in Hawaii, this is becoming more…
