Cozy little home, Susan the owner was very attentive and helpful. Home is located within 1 mile of blue springs and only a cpl of miles from ginnie springs. Awesome location! close to everything but still very private and had a large backyard and porch area. Great for my family, it suited our needs perfectly! We had awesome time and some fun adventures while staying the weekend here! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We picked this house based on it's proximity to Itchetucknee Springs. It' pretty close. We had no issues from booking, checking in, to checking out. We had everything we needed in the home. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were plenty of towels, and the beds were comfortable. Our favorite spot was the back porch. My only negative would be that the home is older and could probably use freshening up with paint and the baseboards gone over. Susan was a great host, and we'll be back next year.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Diver's Den Cottage. It was beautiful and scenic. We loved seeing the deer and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. Even with rain during our trip, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the supply of board games, books, movies , cards, mini pool table, and other amenities. It was a very short drive to Ichetucknee Springs, where we had fun tubing down the river. We will definitely try to make it back for another visit.

The Diver's Den property is beautiful. It is on a large piece of land, very secluded and peaceful. We loved sitting on the back porch for morning breakfast and coffee as well as for dinner in the evening. There is a large firepit that looked like lots of fun, but a fire ban was in effect in Alachua county so we did not get to use it. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and plenty of space. It was very close and so convenient for getting to the springs which was our reason for visiting and made it the perfect location for us. We did have trouble with the one toilet. Within a few hours of our arrival it overflowed from light use. We plunged it several times throughout the weekend and used the bathroom elsewhere when possible as we were afraid of this happening again. There was a strong odor of moth balls upon arrival, but after being there for awhile we did not notice it as much. We did not see any moth balls and felt that the house was clean. I did feel that Susan was curt and brief with me in our conversation when I first booked the house; accusing myself and my guests of being "college kids" even though we are couples well out of college and working. It made us feel unwelcome before we even arrived.

Response from Susan:
I was happy to hear that you thought the cottage was comfortable and spacious and that you liked the surrounding land around the cottage. I work very hard to make sure that everything is working before my guests arrive, especially the toilet and shower. The toilet is flushed numerous times to ensure that it is working properly. I also check the shower for any possible leaks. I would like to address the issue of the clogged toilet. When I inspected the toilet after your departure, I found that the container provided for female products was full to the top. We determined that the issue with the toilet was negligence by some of your guests in the disposal of their female products and our plumber confirmed that. There were numerous guests in groups before you arrived and no one else complained about a moth ball odor. In reference to my questioning you about the age of your group; this is a college town and I have had numerous problems with the cottage and property due to college age students drinking and damaging property. So, this is the reason that I inquired about the age of your group.
