Private nature retreat nestled in a meadow adjacent to year-round creek located in one of the best bird watching areas in all of Sonoma County. Handmade cabinets, unique stone floors, radiant heat, and luxurious furnishings. Outside of the village of Bodega and close to Occidental, Valley Ford, Freestone and Bodega Bay. The space
Built in 2002 the custom made Round House boasts radiant heated stone tile floors, cupola, granite counters,skylights, amazing viewscape through wraparound windows, Italian woodstove, custom furnishings, nautilus shower, handmade cherry cabinets, bamboo ceilings, chef's kitchen and wrap around stone porch.

Other things to note
3 full days between guests...Please do not invite unauthorized guests without permission. The white carpeting in the bedroom is wool so please leave dirty shoes at the front door. There is wood stocked inside the house and one small box of wood outside, beyond that you'll need to purchase more wood from The Bodega Country Store or bring your own. NO DURAFLAME it clogs the stove pipe.

You can take a leisurely or brisk stroll or bike ride down Salmon Creek Road which winds for 5 miles along the creek under a canopy of trees. You can also walk to the historic town of Bodega, location of Hitchcock's film, The Birds and St.Teresa of Avila's Church which was immortalized by Ansel Adams. On the weekends enjoy the Coffee Shop, and the pub, "The Casino Bar and Grill" which offers burgers in the afternoons and fine dining in a unique setting at night throughout the week. Bodega is also home to the famous Northern Lights Surf Shop.

I love living in Bodega where I care take a beautiful 7 acre property along a creek. The gardens and orchards keep me busy and the bird song and natural beauty keep me happy. I am currently the Hospitality Manager and Beauty Way Specialist at the nearby Occidental Arts and Ecology Center and occasionally I still find the time to cook there for the classes they offer. Before I became a mom I spent most of my time traveling the world and was the Director of a Surf and Kayak Camp in between. India, Bhutan, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, New Zealand, Fiji, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, The Galapagos, and The Sea of Cortez are some of the places I explored. I love wild crafting the many herbs we have here on the property and spending time in nature with my daughter. As an airbnb host I honor the space most folks enjoy when they rent a property, but I am a phone call away and totally available. I try to make sure you have everything you need and extra beauty to boot.
