This lovely shepherds hut is in an area of outstanding natural beauty 2 fields from the Bluebell Railway, a restored steam railway, and the Ashdown Forest. The hut is cosy, in a lovely private garden for your sole use. Comfy bed, french linen bedding, and wood burner. Good for couples, solo adventurers, and dogs (extra charge). Space for a tent for 2 children (extra charge). The outside cook space is complete with a barbecue as well as gas hob. Plenty of great pubs nearby.
The hut has mains electricity and water. A great hot shower in the ensuite bathroom plus hot water for the outside sink. There is a double gas burner outside as well as the barbecue. Plenty of logs and kindling for the wood burner and enough charcoal for one good barbecue.
Please ask for details if arriving by car. The hut is about 1/2 mile from the Bluebell Horsted Keynes Railway Station. Buses run to that station once an hour only on Saturdays and Sundays (Route 270). If you travel by mainline railway to Haywards Heath it is about a 10 minute taxi ride.
Check out by 12 noon. Extra charge - £10 per visit - for each dog that stays with you in the hut.
