Marcos has an efficient operation with the highest level of professionalism I experienced during my entire stay in Cuba. Great breakfasts, very knowledgeable about the best deals and excursions. They have several rooms and connected us with a nearby apartment which ended up being a very comfortable stay. The only thing was that the Wifi wasn't working while we were there, which considering most houses don't have their own Wifi is not a big deal.

This place is close to Coppelia and the university in vedado. Easy to get a taxi to old Havana and get around in general. I didn't eat breakfast but it was offered.

My stay at Marco's place was brief. I was there less than a day. The house was exactly how it is pictured online. My room was perfect for sleeping and my private bathroom was beautiful and spotless. I did not attempt to connect to the internet while I was there so I am unsure of the quality or availability of it. Breakfast was perfect for me and Marcos and his mother Maria were both very friendly and helpful with everything that I needed. They were also able to arrange a taxi for me to the airport when I left. I would stay with them again if I get the chance.

We had a nice stay at Marcos' casa. His mother took care of most things, including cooking breakfast for us and helping us with any needs. There is wifi, although a little bit spotty, that you pay a fee for. The room was secluded in the back of the house, by the way, this house is pretty big! The rooms and bathroom were clean. We didn't use the AC, there was a cold front when we were there. We were able to prop the window open to get some air. The bathroom is small but enough. The water for the shower was not hot enough for me, but my other two roommates went ahead and showered like normal. Maria (Marcos' mother) was very sweet and sympathetic when she knew I was not feeling well. The location is great, you are walking distance to the main drag, Calle L which has a ton of businesses. There was some road noise but nothing intolerable. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper though!

Marcos's home is fine. We had little to no interaction with him including no email communication/confirmation of our instant book nor a response to my email confirming when we planned to arrive. It was a little unclear which of the few units at his address was the correct one, so we knocked on a few doors and met a couple neighbors before we got to the correct door. We only stayed one night and mostly interacted with his grandmother, who was lovely. House is clean and has all the basic necessities. He has internet that you can use for a fee. Walkable neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay with Marcos and his mother, Maria very much. Marcos communicated with me before our trip very promptly and answered all my questions. He made arrangements for a taxi driver to pick us up from the airport, which made things easier for us. Our room was private, clean and Maria made us a wonderful breakfast each morning. We like the neighborhood we were in, although we had to spend a lot more on taxis than we anticipated. Using the local bus is not an option, Marcos said---too crowded and complicated. Wifi worked well and was $3 per hour, but I used it a couple times for 1/2 hr, which is also an option. Our hosts made us feel at home and helped with directions, etc. If we go back to Havana (we will definitely go back to Cuba), we will stay with them again. Thank you for your hospitality!
