This charming apartment is close to Tower Grove Park, the Missouri Botanical Gardens, Ices Plain & Fancy ice cream, Sweet Arts Cafe, restaurants and dining on South Grand, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the mid century modern decor and charm, the wooden floors, the light from windows on all sides of the building, the piano, the extra office space, the ambiance, the neighborhood, and the historic red brick. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
One bedroom, hardwood flooring throughout the apartment on the second floor of a mixed commercial and residential brick building. There is a front stairwell and hallway, office, bedroom with a queen sized bed and access to two dressers and a nightstand, bathroom with shower in bathtub, galley style kitchen, and open dining room and living room with a queen sized pull out sofa bed. Windows on all sides of the apartment let in gorgeous light. Apartment is furnished with unique antique mid century modern furnishings and decor including my grandmother's piano in the dining room. Kitchen comes equipped with cookware, utensils, and dishes. Gas stove. Microwave and toaster oven access. Garbage disposal. Recycling and backyard composting available. Wifi. Central air. Sheets and towels available. TV with HDMI connection and DVD player, but no cable access. Street parking only.

Interaction with guests
We can meet guests to pass off keys and show the space upon arrival or we can arrange to share the lock box code depending on what's convenient for all. We can offer as many tips on places to visit, eat, drink, and check out depending on what the guest is seeking.
Other things to note
There is an art gallery/studio space downstairs run by the building owners- who are quickly available should anything arise. The other commercial spaces include community acupuncture and a hair salon. There is another second floor apartment across the roof, and the owner has a dog that is occasionally out.
I was born and raised in St. Louis, then lived in the Bay Area, CA for 9 years before returning to the Shaw neighborhood to be close to family. My mom and her husband own the building and run the art gallery/studio space right below the apartment. Say hello and stop by to say hi! My partner Ian and I have had fun decorating the space with mid century modern antique furniture and can recommend lots of shopping, outdoor places to explore, and delicious dining options in the area.
