This was the second part of my stay at B&B Mortirola. In between I went on a solo unsupported 5 day tour of Lombardia. They very kindly agreed to let me leave my suitcase there while I was gone and I was pleasantly surprised to be told I could leave everything in my room as they would keep it for me even though I wasn't there. They also gave me their ph number just in case anything went wrong and I needed to be rescued. And upon leaning I was planning to catch the bus back to Tirano they insisted on giving me another lift back to the station. And thanks for educating me about Giuliano Calore. The house is secluded and quiet and close to many famous cycling passes

Sara & Giordi went out of their way to pick me up. I toldthem my train was arriving at 1652 and to pick me up at 1705 but when I arrived they were waiting for me just outside the station entrance at 1652. They were super welcoming and Sara drew me maps of how to get to the local restaurants and bike paths making sure I didn't get lost. They also made sure I stayed well hydrated with complimentary drinks and breakfast was superb. They both speak good English and Sara is a good source of information especially regarding the weather.

We had a lovely stay at this BnB! The room was spacious and very clean, we had a large balcony with a wonderful view and Sara's sister who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for things to do etc. The breakfast was great also. Would absolutely recommend!

Sara was a very helpful host from the start, with fast responses to my enquires before we arrived. The house is great, quick wifi, carpark, I could have stared out the Window at the mountains all day. Bedroom was large, bathroom was spacious, big shower. Breakfast was substantial with plenty to choose from. The fridge was stocked with fruit, juice and there is a coffee machine you can use at anytime during the day (there were even cold beers to be drunk :). Location was perfect for cycling, Mortirolo 1km down the road and a short drive to Bormio to explore other mountains.

I had a wonderful time here! Sara is a fantastic host and her BnB is beautiful. The location is perfect for cycling in the area. At the base of Mortirolo and the Stelvio and Gavia are only 25km farther up valley. Cheers!
