What a wonderful place to relax and unwind surrounded by nature. Jag allowed us to check in early around 9am after our overnight bus. It was the perfect place to stay after a long journey. Jag's parents were so kind and welcoming, and his mums cooking was the best food we've eaten in India so far. If you're hear to visit Rishikesh, it's a little bit far out but that's also one of the perks, as for two people that can't normally switch off and relax, this beautiful place forced us to do so.

Have the right expectations if you plan to stay at this place. It's a nice quiet place around 20km from Rishikesh. A stream runs next to the property so it is quite scenic. Jag and his family are very friendly and helpful. Access to the property is difficult with public transport scarce and bad roads. This place is ideal if you just want to stay at the property and not travel to Rishikesh. Otherwise I would recommend you consider another property.

Jag and his family have such a special slice of Heaven. The property is about 30 min TukTuk into Rishikesh which for us was perfect, we wanted to be in a peaceful environment to restore from traveling around India. We went into Rishikesh for a day however we couldn't wait to get back to Jag's home ! The land is so LUSH! Jag and his family are knowledgeable of healing plants and grow many Ayurvedic herbs alongside rice fields , fruit trees, vegetables and more. Jag was nice enough to give me a tour of the medicinal plants. Three meals a day are provided and the food is AMAZING! Everything on your plate comes from the land. Rich flavor and made with great love , my digestive system was so happy to have a health conscious meals, after traveling in India it was much needed. Jag and his family give you such warmth and welcome, for us travelers this is priceless ! Looking forward to the next visit ~

This place is a true peice of paradise. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and experience beautiful Indian family life this is the place to go. It's quite far out from the towns which is great. For me and my sister who wanted to be a bit closer to town at that time found the location a bit limiting- but don't let that stop you from staying at this great place. The home cooked meals by Kamma was 10/10 an we learnt how to make chapati :). Definitely recommend this beautiful place.

My stay at Nature Care Village was more than a dream. Endless time was spent swimming in rivers that feed the Ganges, playing with puppies, learning about Ayurvedic plants, making tea, trying to jump on water buffalo, seeing elephant poop on jungle treks (but no elephants ), practicing hatha yoga with Jag, exchanging stories and massages, eating DELICIOUS Punjabi food, playing in the sun for the summer solstice, and making friends that will last a life time! From the location, to the scenery, to the AMAZING family, my stay was made perfect and I fit in as if I was one of the family. I will be back, just next time I will bring more bug spray :)

An absolute treasure. The family is lovely and attentive to your experience in India. You want to go for a walk in the countryside, swim in fresh water springs, learn about herbs, Ayurvedic treatments, see beautiful birds, and of course enjoy Kama's delicious cooking, you're home at nature care village. They were hospitable and unbelievably kind. Kama taught me to embroider a handkerchief, Mr. Singh and Jag were most informative about plants, Jag even instructed some morning yoga. Highly recommend if you want a family experience. Watch out for the cutest little puppy named Foxy, she likes to be scratched and flip flops.
