You will stay in a small cozy studio Apartment in the 300 year old knights manor. The stone wall around the manor, the old thatched roofed stable, now converted to apartments as well as the oak of peace, planted in 1871 towering in the middle of the estate tell its history. Enjoy strolls or jogs through the park and the bordering forests. You can reach Buxtehude in 10 minutes (car) and Stade (Airbus) in 15. We are looking forward to hosting you.

The space

My place is close to the little town center, but it also directly borders the forrest which is amazing for jogging/walking/bicycle tours. You can reach the towns sports center with a gym, squash, tennis (indoor & outdoor) & badminton courts within 400 meters. You’ll love my place because of the light room, the comfy bed, the coziness and quietness of the countryside. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids). It is Ideal for Business travellers working at Airbus or any company in Hamburg, Stade, Buxtehude and the surrounding area. It is very quiet, so its fantastic as a relaxed retreat after a long day of work, plus there is good wifi.

You will be able to access the full apartment.

We stayed for a week in Ina's apartment. The place is awesome quiet and we slept more than well in the perfect bed, you don't want to get up anymore... The small kitchen is equipped well enough for breakfast and to cook your own meals. Our hosts Ina and Chris live next door but we felt very private and they were always there to help if we needed anything (like matches for our candles). Travelling to Hamburg is easy by train from Buxtehude, a week card provides unlimited access to subway network in Hamburg as well. The Nottensdorf neighborhood is green and charming and shows many old buildings with interesting brick patterns in the walls. We finally did not have time enough to explore the surroundings better, save it for next time.

Ina was very welcoming and kind, and really made our stay pleasant. We were able to contact her whenever we needed to and she was attentive to our every need. When we wanted to go for a hike she had great suggestions and is very knowledgeable about the local area. The flat was super cosy and she provided us with tea, coffee, milk and delicious candy. Just a word of warning: there is no functioning stovetop in the flat. There is a tea kettle, sink, fridge, dishes and utensils, and a toaster, but the stovetop in the photo isn't set up to work (no power connection). However, Ina was great about letting us use her oven to cook the lasagne we'd brought with us. The location is wonderful - exactly the kind of quiet escape we were looking for, but still easy to get to from the city. We'd gladly stay again for a weekend away from it all.

Response from Ina:
Hi Nicole, thanks again for your stay, I reallly enjoyed hosting you. There must have been a short circuit shortly before your arrival. I have immediatly fixed the stovetop, so guests are able to cook now. Im looking forward to see you next time, Ina.

Im a absolute sports enthusiast. I love to go for runs in the forrest of Nottensdorf, and I play in high leagues in our local tennis team as well as the golf course. Nottensdorf is ideal, since it has a beautiful indoor & outdoor tennis club, and the golf course of Buxtehude is just a 12 Minute drive. My other "hobby" is my family of course, I have raised three children who are all studying in Germany which I am very proud of. And last but not least I support my beloved husband who is a medical doctor in Nottensdorf as well.
