We are surrounded by scenic countryside, close to The National Botanical Garden of Wales, the Gower, Carmarthen town, Castles, Llandeilo market town and the gorgeous Welsh coastline. Your room is a part of our spacious property, which offers easy access to the M4 motorway and a great gateway to venture further into West Wales. Our top assets are a relaxing atmosphere and great breakfast. We accommodate a broad range of guests, from couples & solo adventurers to families & groups of up to 7.

The space

Our property is in the heart of typical Welsh village Porthyrhyd. A large garage can be booked for storing tackle and cycles. And a secure parking for motorcycles.
The village feels remote and peaceful but is actually very close to the A48 and M4, offering easy access to South Wales. Cardiff the capitol,a train journey ,transport can be arranged, and West Wales treasures as Tenby, Carmarthen town, Llansteffan and even Swansea city. Also very close to Skanda Vale, Brechfa mountain bike and cycling, and the Garrnffrwd fly fishing park. And Fos Las race course. Just a mile away is the New British Art teaching foundry which runs courses throughout the year for bronze castings. Within the village itself, you can and take a stroll up the hill to our thatched roof local pub and several other public houses serving good food and real ale. the famous glass domed National Botanical Garden of Wales is within walking distance. Within our family home, you will have access to a very spacious private twin room shared garden.

Sally was a wonderful host and made us nice breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. Towels and tea/coffee were provided in the room. The bathroom is very spacious and clean which is also a bonus. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed whilst working in the area as I like to try not to stay in hotels always. The room was lovely with stunning views and I had a desk to work. Sally and her son were conssumate hosts willing to assist in making my stay easy. I would stay again if they have me
