Our place is close to Volcanoes National Park, just on the outskirts of Musanze town about 3 km from the city center. You’ll love our place because of the beautiful views of the volcanoes, American mattresses, and stunning architecture built with local materials. Our two rooms are a part of a detached private bungalow with a bathroom and shower. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

The space
Our bungalow is set next to our family home with a beautiful yard and garden, hammock, terrace, and fire pit, which are all available to our guests. We have a great view of several of the Virunga volcanoes, the home of Rwanda's Mountain Gorillas. Travel time from our house to the park headquarters is about 30 minutes. We can help arrange travel at industry standard prices (currently about $80 a day for truck and driver for gorilla tracking). Please note that we have to very sweet and curious dogs who share our outside space and who love to make friends with our guests.

Our neighborhood is on the outskirts of the city, so it definitely has a village vibe. We are surrounded by a few traditional Rwandan houses, some new ‘modern’ houses, and amazing views of the surrounding hills and volcanoes. It is a bit of tranquility on the edge of the city.

During your stay

We are available most evenings to help our guests with travel logistics and other questions. We can help with small amounts of laundry if needed for 2,500 RWF per load. We also have great internet in the guesthouse. We love to get to know our guests, but are ok with giving them space as well.
