The space

It is a small little studio cabin built in the early 1900's as a service cabin for the old Braymill White Pines lumber company.

Guest access

You may have access to anything on the property besides the main house and the two travel trailers. We also own the 20 acres across the street with river front access. If you would like to go down to the river and fish or enjoy the views and wildlife let us know when you arrive and we will be sure to give you access to the river. Guests may interact with the dogs, cats, and chickens on the property. We do not have garbage disposal's in the sink instead we have a bucket that we ask you to put your table scraps in for the chickens and compost mix.c

Vaughn's cabin is rustic and cozy. It's well equipped and they provide some food for your use. It is a bit of a step back in time as there is no TV, wifi or cell coverage. Good for getting away from it all if that's what you want. Crater Lake is beautiful but rim road is closed in winter.

Vaughn was super nice and accommodating. We arrived late in the evening and was tired after a very long drive but as soon as we met Vaughn and saw the apartment and setting we started to relax. The location is perfect if you are looking to get away from it all and appreciate nature

We enjoyed the quite and private setting. The location was perfect for visiting Crater Lake and Katmath Falls.

Exactly as described. We stayed at Vaughn's because it was close to Crater Lake and I appreciated the food/ breakfast he had in the fridge. Chiloquin doesn't have a lot going on (and his place doesn't have wifi/cable), so we ended up driving a half hour south to Klamath Falls in the evening.

Nice place off the beaten path. We stayed to visit Crater Lake which was about a 50 minute drive to the Rim Village Visitor's Center.

This place was incredible. Remote, scenic, and quiet. You are also allowed to wander the grounds, which just so happens to be a former old town. How cool is that!? If you're looking for some peace and quiet in a little rustic cabin, this is the place.

Vaughn User ProfileVaughn is a superhost.

Hardworking family man. Very passionate about what i do. Whether i am tending the bnb or performing my daily handyman duties to plowing the snow. Firm believer in family comes first. Love my family and want nothing but the best. I truly enjoy making people smile by being the best me i can be. I love traveling. I've been all over the country from the west coast to the east and from the south to the north. I prefer to drive when i do my traveling. I'm not big on flying.
