Wonderful apartment in the center of town and near large hotels. I came as a speaker to a conference, in a hotel literally three buildings away. This apartment was a much better deal than the hotel rooms, and I was able to have my son accompany me at no extra cost. The apartment is airy, with good cross ventilation (very important since summers can get hot in Prague and very few places have A/C). The apartment is also nicely laid out, so it has the feel of comfort and luxury at the same time. But it's the kind of "luxury" that you are not afraid of--like leather sofa, a bit worn, so you can cozy on it and watch late night TV. Its on the 4th floor, and the floors are high, but there's a small elevator which works well--especially for bringing up suitcases or groceries. Its in the center of town, so its surrounded by night life, which you can hear at night. I liked it, since I am a late night person.

The host Nigel is the worst host you could ever possibly meet on airbnb. He forgot about our reservation completely, and there was no reception, no welcome, and no apologies whatsoever for what happened to us on our arrival! The room was only half ready for us when we arrived. What’s worse, the host didn’t show up and he got angry at us when we asked him to help us with the setting-up of the baby bed on the phone, which should have been ready for us on our arrival. The lift in the building is very old and we were stuck in the middle of two floors for several minutes the second morning we were there, which was very scary to me, since my baby was alone with me inside the lift. I don’t recommend anyone to choose this apartment and please avoid this unfriendly host if you can.

This apartment was advertised as luxurious and the pictures were made it like it was however on arrival the following issues were noted: The overall look of the apartments was worn and tired eg the curtains were hanging off - unable to draw them, they appeared to be never washed. There was lack of plates, cups, spoons, glasses, broken coffee maker, kitchen drawers broken and full of crumbs, the tea towels provided were not (URL HIDDEN) seemed like quality checks were not undertaken between occupancies. The overall impression was that the landlord was there to make money rather than to care about guests. The Internet connection was intermittent which made life hard for family with children.however the location was great and Nigel was trying to resolve the issues raised. It

You can't please everyone, that being said feel free to read the other reviews for this flat to get a better perspective of the apartment. The internet was not working so well during their stay which has never happened in the years past....a technician came out and replaced the line which was the fault of the internet provider. -the broken coffee maker was the part that they didn't insert to catch the (URL HIDDEN) was there but they didn't use it -worn and (URL HIDDEN) a beautiful flat with antique furniture from the early 1900's, it's old a beautiful. -the flat is designed for up to 7 guests and they were a large group renting two (URL HIDDEN) if you plant to use the flat for more than 7 guests yes there is not enough. -the curtains had two places where they fell off the track but they work fine and have since been put back on track

The apartment was great! Maria was able to accommodate our early check-in and was able to meet us at 11 AM. The apartment is huge (the 1.5 bathrooms is a nice touch) and in a decent location. The wi-fi didn't work initially, but the hosts were very responsive when we messaged them and fixed it immediately.
