It's a beautiful Victorian house modernised for comfortable living throughout. Bottom floor is a luxurious open plan living, kitchen and dining area which is flooded with south facing light. Middle floor children's bedroom sleeps 3 kids. Study sofabed sleeps 1 . Top floor has a huge bathroom and the main bedroom. Garden is nicely private with toys for kids, and has a covered outdoor chill-space. The street is pretty and quiet, even though it's a short walk from the vibrant heart of east London.

we are Deborah and Jon, we live with our two sons (born 2010 and 2014) in Hackney, East London. Jon works in advertising and Deborah is a Public Health Nurse.
Our home is in the heart of London Fields, Hackney, arguably the most vibrant and interesting part of modern London. It's a Georgian home with a totally modernised interior: an open plan living, cooking and dining area on the lower ground floor. There is one bedroom for kids up to about 12: a bunkbed sleeps three (including the comfortable slide out bed) and the cot sleeps one toddler. The main bedroom sleeps 2 adults. The third bedroom is currently an office but we are in the process of obtaining a sofa bed for that room. There is a lovely family bathroom on top floor with a massive German 2-person bath. Outside a medium sized mature patio garden with a nice covered play/entertaining area, planted with hanging grapes. We share our home with our two cats - both short haired. There is a cat flap so they come and go as they please but they would appreciate it if you could please feed them daily. Also, we are non smokers and ask that any smokers please do so in the garden.
Hackney is known for its multicultural richness, its artists and its alternative history. Hackney was named the epicentre of cool by Italian Vogue a few years ago and is certainly a great place for people watching at weekends. Our neighbourhood, London Fields has a significantly sized creative community. Our road is a quiet and pretty road only 100m from London Fields common, which is a hugely popular park with one of the only dedicated barbeque areas in the city. There is a 50m Lido there too. For families, as well as London Fields there is beautiful Victoria park with its pretty boating lake and two fantastic playgrounds less than a twenty minute walk away and there are also lots of smaller parks and play grounds dotted around locally. Hackney Farm is a lovely city farm just 15 minutes away that has a cafe which serves lovely organic food and does a great sunday breakfast. On Saturdays Broadway Market (an 8 minute walk away) springs to life with a lovely farmers' market, and boasts hip shops and bars all week round. On Sundays, you have the choice of Chatsworth Rd market or Columbia Rd flower market both approx a 20 minute walk away. The super trendy restaurants, bars and assorted pop up entertainments of Dalston and Shoreditch are not much further. The ancient City of London is close too with all its historical streets and buildings. Central London can be reached in about 30 minutes via the fabulous London Overground line, attached to the tube network
