This unique contemporary cosy bus is fully self contained for your comfort with a hot shower, kitchen and bathroom and a pot belly stove. It has it's own private garden and parking. It is private, warm and tranquil, surrounded by nature. It is within walking distance of the Little River cafe and art gallery, and close to the rail trail (biking), bush walks, the Hilltop tavern for food and music, beautiful beaches and Akaroa. The bus is great for couples, and solo adventurers.

The space
Staying in our Red Bus is a unique experience. It's funky and contemporary and really very comfortable. You should have all you need to have a comfortable short or long term stay here. A full size fully equipped kitchen and shower are inside. There is a potbelly stove to use for the cooler evenings. All bedding and linen is provided. The toilet and laundry are in the seperate hut right next to the bus.

Little River, Canterbury, New Zealand

Little River is a pretty cool village with 2 cafes, an art gallery and a craft shop. There is also a petrol station, a shop, library and post office. The river meanders through the town and its nice to go walking around. There are lots of trees. People are very friendly here and the pace is slow so it is somewhere you can really slow down and relax. We are not far from the Hilltop tavern a great music venue. Little River is a great base from which to explore the beautiful walks and activities on the Banks Peninsula and is 30 minutes from Akaroa a scenic seaside town with a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes. It offers swimming and sightseeing with the Dolphins aswell as other wildlife activities.
