A quiet open concept apartment in a safe, residential neighborhood, enjoy the sea view from the panoramic living room floor to ceiling windows. Walk to everything! Everybody loves this location.

The space

Modern kitchen with Stainless steel front appliances. A separate laundry room with a 40 liter hot water heater, 7 kilo Whirlpool washing machine and clothes lines. A newly refurbished apartment with 2 bedrooms. 1 facing the ocean with a UK king size bed with memory foam mattress and a built in closet. Bedroom 2 facing the courtyard and outside access walk way. 2 x single beds with memory foam mattresses and built in closet. Metal shutters for privacy. 1 bathroom with WC, sink, bathtub/ shower

Our place is good for 1- 2 couples, business travelers, and families (with kids). We provide beach towels so you don't have to overload you bags with these heavy items.

High chair, baby crib/ cot / child's car seat may be provided upon request. If you rent bikes, they can be safely parked and locked inside the courtyard. The tap water is not recommended for drinking or cooking (except for boiling unpeeled vegetables like potatoes and carrots), so we always leave a sealed 8 liter container of drinking water to help you out on arrival, but we request that you replenish this with a fresh. sealed 8 liter container for the next tenant's use, before you leave .

There is an intercom/video/ buzzer at the main entrance door, press "18" and it will connect to the apartment. (Lately there has been some electrical fault on this unit) The entrance has a small step up, but is constructed with a wheelchair ramp up to the ground floor elevator. The apartment may also be accessed by wheelchair,( no thresholds) but the bathroom is just a regular bath/ toilet with a bathtub & shower. The kitchen is not handicapped equipped either.

I can be contacted by teleph(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) or +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) if you have any requirements or questions. Also, please call me 1 hour before you arrive to arrange to meet, welcome you, give a short tour of the apartment, point out places of interest and hand over the keys. I can be reached on short notice should you, in the unlikely event, experience any imminent problems during your stay.

This is considered a very safe neighborhood. Walk to Church, Mosque, playground, supermarkets, bars, bake shop, coffee shops, restaurants, Corralejo beaches, and downtown shopping. Very centrally located, yet some distance away from the noisy downtown actions.

Bus stop at the ferry dock for bus 06 going to Puerto del Rosario with stops at Acua water park and Grandes Playas. You can also connect to bus 3 to the airport (Caleta de Fueste) Taxi rank on the ferry dock (taxi cabs are usually lined up only for the ferry arrivals) as well on the main street Avenida Nuestra Senora del Carmen. Close to Super Dino and Shell gasoline station, (5 minute walk to either one) , hourly ferry departures/arrivals to/ from Playa Blanca, Lanzarote and several daily trips to Lobos Island. Car rental in the ferry terminal building (CICAR) and (Cicar and Hertz) on the main street a 10 minute walk. Inpescasa supermarket 50 meters walk. Large Hiper Dino supermarket up the street, less than a 10 min walk. Otherwise, everything else is also within walking distance! If you intend to rent a car at the airport, (Cicar and Hertz) remember you may ask to drop the car off in Corralejo at no additional charge, should you not need the car for your entire stay. Check the car rental's min. hire periods in case you need a car to go back to the airport at the end of your stay, so you don't end up paying higher rates for the short term rental. The fuel policies are also important to note, some car rentals like the ones we have mentioned, have normal refueling policies. "Full out, and full in". But some like AVIS, Orlando, Gold car and the smaller ones use the sneaky "full out empty in" rule and charge you in advance at a higher than normal liter price, as well as they benefit from whatever amount of gasoline you have left in the tank upon return. I also experienced that Orlando smacked on a €270 additional deposit charge for not accepting their "in house" insurance. If you need airport pick up let us know in advance. We offer pick up and return at the end of your stay for €50,- If you drive yourself, also inquire with the host if underground dedicated parking with direct elevator access to the 1st floor, is available at only €5 per 24 hours. Nice in the summer when the heat inside the vehicle may be uncomfortable, and that the island practice of banging their doors into your car in public parking areas is a common occurence

There is a water park called Acua, (formerly Bacu water park) in Corralejo 15-20 minute walk or a short taxi ride. However, it is closed from Dec.11 2016 through March 2017. Opening dates vary depending on the temperature.
Free bus service to Oasis park down south in Jandia, a 1-hour bus ride.
Return in the afternoon. The bus pick up passengers on the ferry dock and at several hotels in Corralejo
Regular city bus service to Grandes Playas - Dunas de Corralejo leaves from the ferry dock station every 10 minutes before the hour from 0750 until 1950, this will be bus # 06 which goes from Corralejo to Puerto del Rosario bus station where you can connect to bus #3 to the airport and Caleta de Fuste.

The entire apartment including free ADSL/ WiFi, a brand new 42 inch wall mounted television (+35 TV channels and 15 radio stations) and a DVD player. 3 electric floor type oscillating fans, hairdryer in bathroom, built in full size oven, microwave plus an additional smaller microwave, water boiler (tea kettle), coffee machine and a 2 slice bread toaster in the kitchen.

I will be available on short notice should the guests require any urgent assistance. I live 1/2 an hour's drive away though.

The area is considered a very safe neighborhood centrally located, yet some distance away from the noisy downtown areas. Walk to everything. For those with children there is a children's play park close by, a Catholic Church on the next block, and a Mosque a few hundred meters away. 3 supermarkets close by, nearest "Inpescasa" a few steps along Calle Arena, also Hiper Dino and Euro Spar a short walk away.

Make sure to take note of the fiesta dates Fiestas Nuestra Senora del Carmen (first half of July). For those who appreciate peace and quiet it can get noisy during the fiesta celebrations by the sports complex. But it's the same all over town and it's an annual tradition we cannot do anything about.

Some of the apartments in this building have a balcony, but this one does not! Secure parking can be leased in the underground at €5 per night, or €60 per month.

This is a quiet family type apartment complex with a huge interior courtyard where children can play safely. Please be courteous and do not disturb the other residents. Loud music, noisy parties and the like will not be tolerated. Noise curfew 2300 hrs. Smoking only allowed outside of the apartment. If you decide to move the furniture or appliances around, we expect you to arrange everything back in its original place when leaving.
Parking on the streets, underground garage space with elevator service may be leased at €5 per day or €60 per full month. Garbage/ recycling bins on the corner Calle Malpais/ Calle Arena, just a few steps on the left from the main entrance.
Household garbage may only be disposed of after 19:00 in the winter and 20:00hrs in the summer. (Because of foul odor). Recycling items may be disposed of at any time.
- You will not need to hire a car full time staying here since everything is within walking distance. Town hall, Church, large playground for kids 5 mins walk
- Frequent, hourly bus departures (06) to Puerto del Rosario with connections to the airport (03) right at the ferry dock. Ferries to Playa Blanca, Lanzarote every hour from 07:30 until 20:00 as well as a ferry to Lobos Island (Check schedules) within a 5- 10 minutes walk. Many people find they want to fly in/out of Lanzarote Airport as well. Ferry to/ from Playa Blanca takes about 20 minutes. Bus from Playa Blanca to/ from the airport will take about an hour. We can arrange airport pick up by luxury car at Fuerteventura as well as Lanzarote Airports. Inquire with host.
- The nearest supermarket, Inpescasa, is only a 50 meters' walk along Calle Arena. A larger Hiper Dino supermarket 400 meters away.

Great location/view, amazing hosts - left us fruit basket, biscuits and water.....apartment was nice and comfortable and kitchen was well equipped with washing items and other utensils. Bed was squeaky with too soft a mattress....may need to replace in future. Overall nice place for a stay

We were on vacation in Corralejo as a family of 3 and stayed for 2 months. The apartment is clean ,light and spacios , it has everything one might need for a comfortable stay.Well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom with towels and toileteries ,2 bedrooms, nice living room with dining table and TV, good WiFi. The location is great too, everything is in short walking distance, supermarkets, restaurants and beaches. When we rented a car ,we had no problems parking on the street near the building. Svein was easy to reach and communication was easy. We felt like at home and had a wonderful vacation.

One of the most beautiful sea view I've ever seen. I have had the pleasure to meet the host for check-in and check out. He has been always happy to get back to my email or phone calls. My family and I have spent more than 30 days at the apartment and the feeling we had living in there was amazing. Kitchen is very well equipped. WiFi pretty good. The apartment is working distance from everything you will need. Highly recommended.

Svein was a wonderful host! He provided us with detailed directions to his place, great recommendations for the area, and was totally accommodating with check-in and check-out times. The location of the apartment was perfect - we could walk everywhere, including to restaurants, shops, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, dive shops, ferries, boat taxis and everything else you need! Parking was also no problem and the view is great.
