Great value. Close to the train station. Private room with your own key. There were quite a few other guests in the house and the only toilet is on the ground floor so I didn't feel so comfortable keep bumping into people. Other than that, this is a nice place to stay for the night.

It was a pleasure to host you. As I live here with my husband and housemate, meeting others can sometimes happen. I can see you are a bit shy and felt uncomfortable, I am sorry about that.

I get there from a long journey and I badly needed to rest. So, I slept very well as there were no late noises in the night disturbing me. The house is less than five minutes walk away from the Sainsbury supermarket and bus stops going to the city center.

I was expecting that I'd be intruding on someone's home and was a little worried, but the place is organised like an inn and you get a room with a private key. It was comfortable, they provided plenty for breakfast and it was in a convenient location. The owners are friendly too.

Alaksha's place is a fine place to stay and crash. The room provided is nice, private and comfortable. However, she has some roommates who stay up until very late (4am) chatting. Although they may not be very loud, the walls are thin, and you can't help but to hear them. If it wasn't for that, I would recommend it.

Hi Ruthie, my housemate was not aware of airbnb guest in the house that day and he was in the living room till late. I informed him of guests who may come anytime. I am sorry, however this situation will not happen again. Thanks.

I come from Mauritius Island, known as the “Star and Key of the Indian Ocean”. My husband and I are a friendly young couple who love to socialise. We enjoy to travel as much as we can.
